Hi all,
So I'm Caldari and naturally Im flying Caldari boats with missiles. What are the skills I need to increase my RoF with the launchers? I'm currently learning heavy missiles to 5 so I can get access to the Tech 2 launchers. I have been running BCU II's which has helped especially with the damage i deal.

Rapid Launch and [Missile] Specialization. In addition to BCUs, check Bay Loading Accelerator rigs (especially the relatively inexpensive T2 version).
Faction launchers also have a higher RoF than T2 launchers with spec 5 (they also have larger clips). Their downside is that they can't use T2 ammo. |

Depending on the boat you're piloting, you may be able to increase RoF using the right Spaceship Command skill. For example, the Raven and CNR have RoF bonuses tied to the Caldari Battleship skill. There are also implants that can increase RoF (and damage). The highest level (5% bonus) are fairly expensive, in the 160 mil isk range, but the 1% and 3% are likely much more affordable. |

True. All Raven variants plus the Rook (where it's tied to Caldari Cruiser, so it's maxed if you can sit in one) get this.

ZMM series, slot 10. There's actually a +6% out there (CONCORD LP store) but it's hard to justify.
For high sec missions I have a ZMM 1000 (5%) and I did notice an improvement when I plugged it in. For exploration I settled for a ZMM 100 (3%). |

Thanks for the info. I'm low SP (<6mil) so I'm in a Drake since they are forgiving. I will look into the implants though. Does the cruiser and BC skill provide any bonuses? Evemon is mum on that question. |

BC: 5% to all shield resists per level and 5% to kinetic heavy and heavy assault missile damage. But no RoF bonus for the Drake. |

And that downside is going to become worse if CCP remove the penalties from T2 ammo. I'm gonna start using furry missiles, if they do. Well, some of the time. Can't promise to do it all the time, before I've looked at the explosion radius and velocity stats relative to Caldari Navy missiles.
