Since I can never seem to get any confirmation of the bugs & issues I've reported in the issues threads time and time again, I'm going to make a thread for anyone who also feels that the issues they've recognized and reported have been ignored. I would ask only that you stay on topic and while I understand you're probably frustrated as I am, that you show some manners to the devs who (hopefully) would respond here. After all they are just people doing a job to make a living, not some computer gods who can make things happen with magic and science! So without further delay, here are some bugs I've noticed and reported in issues threads and feel have been ignored:
- You can no longer drag skills from the character sheet into a chat channel and produce a link to the skillbook
- Bookmarks in solar system map no longer display their distance in AU from your ship
- Bookmarks in solar system map can become obscured by beacons and other icons making them impossible to interact with
- Bookmarks in solar system map become 10% opaque when probes are launched when some time ago they used to remain 100% opaque at all times
- Labels for scanner probes in solar system map can sometimes disappear and then each probe has to be disabled and enabled again for them to return, it's been stated before that this happens when zoomed out and the probe labels become part of the "exploded" view of planet icons when clustered closely together, upon collapsing back, the probe labels are gone.
- Weapons sometimes become ungrouped when boarding a ship from a ship maintenance array (yes there was a fix for this but it still occurs on occasion)
- Any modules that can be loaded with scripts do not show their loaded status in the fitting window via the four small white bars that indicate the loaded state of a weapon (while they do still show the icon indicating which type of script is loaded)
- Turrets including salvagers sometimes are not present on the hull of ships (about 50/50) and sometimes the sound effects of turrets are not present (about 20/80)
- The icons for closing, minimizing and pinning windows are kind of hit and miss. If you don't click them just right they disappear from the window itself and don't reappear for a few seconds for you to "try again" good luck!
- Drones are busted, they sometimes go idle while attacking, they split targets while on "focus fire" and they don't work as a solid unit anymore. They used to fire in unison giving a "volley damage" type effect and now they operate much like ungrouped turrets (Team BFF has reported in another thread that they are looking into this and I applaud them for their efforts towards better communication with the customers)
- Not sure if this is a bug or working as intended: When warping to a bookmark at 30KM I more often than not land at 24KM which is a lot closer to 20KM than 30KM. I find this unacceptable by "future" standards. If a warp drive really existed and your margin of error on arrival was 6KM I'd say it seemed more like experimental technology than solid every day use type stuff. Warping to 30 and landing within point range isn't cool.
- If a bomber right before his ship explodes launches a bomb, he somehow gets onto his own killmail doing zero damage to himself. While not that big a deal really it can reduce the amount of points a pilot gets on a killboard for that kill and actually give points to the victim for "killing himself." Some pilots exploit this fact to troll people who have killed them and get points from dying.
These are all the bugs I can remember, some new, some really old but all still present. So if anyone else has any bugs or issues they'd like to report then feel free to post them here. Looking forward to seeing dev responses to let me know if I'm just crazy or if some of these things I've reported in this post are "working as intended".

Just remembered another couple bugs: Chat channels sometimes change focus while typing and otherwise and can lead to leaked information into local channel. Chat channels no longer stay arranged as by the player when stacked but now arrange themselves in alphabetical order on every client restart. |

All these views and no posts? I know I'm not alone here, all I want is confirmation of these issues. Are they all really bugs or are they stealth changes that never made patch notes? I need a dev or gm to give me a little help here and I encourage anyone else with any issues they'd like to report to please post them here. Maybe posting this in the correct place instead of just throwing it into the general discussion area was a mistake, seems like all the other threads that get moved here from general discussion at least get graced by the dev moving the topic here. |

Lately when swapping drones in my drone bay, as in taking all the drones out to put another different set in. The drone control window (for lack of knowledge of the real name for it) disappears as you would expect it to, but upon putting more drones in the bay it does not reappear sometimes. Just a little while ago I had to take the drones out and put them back in as many as six times before the drone control window came back. This is while using a ship maintenance array in a POS btw. |

The strange thing about this bug is that the weapons aren't actually ungrouped as per what the fitting window shows but the buttons for the weapons on the HUD (I guess that's what you'd call it) are ungrouped. To solve the problem you have to go into the fitting window and unload the weapons, clear the group and then regroup them to make the extra buttons disappear. This is particularly frustrating and no dev has yet responded to the issue when it was brought up several times in the newer issues threads after the patch to fix it was released (patch fixed where this was happening to every ship every time you boarded). |

- ALT-Click to 'Look At' is acting strange. Sometimes it jumps back to your own ship instantly, sometimes you cannot zoom all the way in (as if your own ships maximum zoom level is applied to the object your trying to view). If you are viewing one object then ALT-Left Click a 3rd object to view it your camera view instantly jumps to the object you want to look at then to your own ship then back to the object your are currently viewing. It is a bit silly |

Have you filed bug reports for these issues? If you haven't please do so since those will help the developers greatly in locating the cause of the issue and hopefully fix it as soon as possible.

I'd rather get a direct response right here, these issues/bugs can be reproduced with minimum effort, certainly a lot less effort than it would take to file 15 separate bug reports and wait a month or more for those to even get responses. Really we just want someone who would know to pay a little visit to this thread and let us know which issues really are bugs and which are "working as intended." Thank you for your response Retrofire, if nothing else at least now this thread has a GM tag on it and more people will read it. |

Yeah, why bother filing a proper bug report so devs actually see your complaints and bugs (hint: devs use bug tracking systems) when you can continue playing forum warrior here instead? I mean, it may actually take you like 5 minutes to copy and paste your reports here into independent bug submissions.
It feels much better just complaining into the void, right? That's what you want, attention and catharsis? Here's one more reply for your attention-seeking! |

Because genuine bug reports are closed with "Cannot reproduce". So yeah, screw it. I'm not spending 30+ minutes of my life posting a bug report again, ever.
Of all the issues listed, the drone thing is what's most ********. How hard can it be to get drones right? Seriously.

This can have many reasons, ranging from "local issue" over "the repro steps provided did not lead to the issue" to "it's actually already fixed in the build your repro steps were tested in", just to name a few.
Eventually review the repro steps you gave, make them more detailed etc. and also remember that you can reopen a bug report at any time. GM Karidor | Senior Game Master |

The main reason i dont fill out bug reports is that, I filled one out maybe 5 months ago, forgot about it, and today i got an email saying CNR when the issue was resolved about 2 months ago.

Steps to reproduce
1. hover mouse over X button 2. click mouse left button 3. move mouse without leaving the window area and without releasing left button (for instance move from right to left across the window title bar) 4. let go of mouse button 5. Pin, minimize and X buttons are now gone 6. stare at the window without said buttons
Other effects: Small mouse movements while clicking X (or a button from the group) can result in the above bug triggering.
Workaround:
1. move mouse outside of window

and the usually reports will have the aditional message at email: "We are already aware of this problem, and have added your bugreport to the existing issue in our defect tracking system."
even after a year? thats why i don't bother reporting it, ain't gonna be fixed anyway
CCP, honest, how many of these "we are aware" reports u have.

This seems to only happen when splitting a stack of drones into the drone bay that is larger than the capacity of the drone bay, so say the drone bay only holds 50m3 of drones but the stack is larger than 50m3 and has to be split into the drone bay, the drones go in but the drone control window doesn't open up. To fix it you have to take the stack of drones back out of the drone bay without putting it back into the initial stack you pulled them from, then put them back into the drone bay. This only applies to putting drones into a drone bay while in space at a POS using a ship maintenance array.
EDIT: Also the drone bay has to be empty so the drone control window isn't present, simply putting drones from a stack into a drone bay that already has some drones in it works as intended. |

Another bug I forgot about when making the OP: Since the incursions patch the shortcut keys are kind of wacky. While holding down Ctrl and clicking a target on the overview the target gets locked as intended. Now if you simply have a target selected on the overview and you press and release Ctrl the target gets locked. Same goes for the hotkeys to warp to, align to, orbit ect. If you have something selected on your overview and you accidentally hit one of these keys the action is carried out even though the click was never made. Very Annoying and posted multiple times in several issues threads in the past. |

Another one I forgot to mention in the OP: While sitting in space for an undetermined amount of time (I'd say around 20-30 minutes) your ship will re-orient itself to face a certain direction, not sure which direction this is exactly but it's always the same direction. While lying in wait in a stealth bomber off a wormhole for instance this is quite annoying as it makes you take extra time to align for the bomb as well. Bug or working as intended? |

Happens mainly to the first ship boarded from a ship maintenance array after log on but does occasionally happen afterwards with seemingly no rhyme or reason to it. Reported in multiple issues threads numerous times by different customers.

A lot of the time the "Delayed" member list for Alliance channel doesn't work as intended and instead functions just like the "Recent Speakers" list option. Have to pull it out of the stack of channels to make it work as intended. |

They still have yet to fix the graphical issues with the CQ and avatar design. Maybe if they offered some kind of reward for detailed bug reports that led them to fixing an issue people would actually use the system more rather then be so discouraged by the generic responses. |

If you try to link an item by typing it in chat and right-clicking it and clicking auto-link (item type), while the box is open with all the possible item names if you right click one of them and click show info, the info window will open as intended. The problem is that when you close the item list box the info window closes along with it. |
