Let us say... hypothetically... that someone can get cheap minerals worth a bit over a billion ISK, every week, week after week, with little effort.
Would that person be able to use most of those minerals as a single-character operation, i.e. being limited to 11 production slots? It seems to me that most BPOs don't "convert" minerals very fast as measured in ISK-per-time-unit. Profit is fine, but I've looked closely at T1 small drone production in particular, and the speed of mineral usage is underwhelming. |

Easily
Raven blueprint. 8 runs requires roughly 1.1 billion ISK worth of minerals and takes a single day to make (and that's one slot) Talos. 16 runs, 1 billion ISK worth of minerals, 2 days. Bombs. 50 runs requires roughly 1 billion ISK worth of minerals, takes 5 hours to make Sentry drones. 2000 runs - 250 million and a week (so 4 lines for 1 billion in a week) Strip miner. 500 runs, 1 billion ISK of materials, 2 days.
Now selling that is another story.... |

I find that being able to move your product as fast as you make it can be difficult.
Usually what i do is just stockpile what i make for about a week and then spend an entire day trying to sell it |

Freighters. Pump one out per day (once you get your production line up and running).
Don't forget though, that anything you can optimally build, you will also optimally lower the price by if you're producing more than demand and you actually want to sell it on the market. That's why I never build the same thing each "run". I choose something different each time. |

I have a 6 Charon fleet, primarily for hauling all the Tritanium I use. I can use that with one charcter building ships. |

As everyone has said, ships. I have 3.5 bil in minerals ready for production and I'm feeling distinctly short. |

side question: isn't buy order slow to accumulate the minerals you need ? and also requires high attention ? |

I'm a pretty small scale industrialist and I could easily chew through as many minerals as I can get, but as noted selling is the prob, so diversify what you build and be prepared to sit on high end hulls for as long as it takes.
Regarding the side note, yes buy orders can be slow and require adjustments in price to fill quickly but I usually drop a couple of hundred mill on buy orders a week and usually convert 60-75% into ore/minerals, newb systems can be good sources of high numbers of low quantity sellers, Indy life needs a good wad of cash and patience.
As already stated if you got the materials ships are the way to go, but low margin and identical long term investment |

I compress and sell about 1.5 billion in minerals every day. I have one dedicated trade character purchasing minerals and one producing mineral compression modules. With 10 lines I can, and have, compressed 5 billion in minerals per day although this has tended to be for very short stretches of under a week. Basically that is that is a super capital in minerals a week and I'm pretty sure that others would be able to do this as well.
Buy orders are filled fast in Jita and I sell directly to clients through contracts. I may not receive full Jita sell prices for the modules I produce but the high volume and turnover compensates for this.
By the way I'm looking for more customers :) |

Oxide : Depends where you have buy orders.
I bought 350 mil of trit for 4.31 ISK in few days in my location.
It is possible ... the downside is it is spread on around 40 stations :D So take a while to collect it, but not a big deal when you can fly freighters in work :) |

6 battleships will do it, and it takes about 16 hours to build.
note that my last build was 5 battleships, 15 attack bc, 30 combat bc and 20 cruisers (10 BPOs, 10 slots used), and the whole build took 26 hours for the longest BPO to run. Was probably a 3bil build.
Even acquiring the minerals on market outside of jita and selling the ships outside of jita I can do that twice a week if I want to, (in practice though I usually just do a repeat for whatever of the ships I built show acceptable volume, rather than all of them.
