I would like to ask you about this fit, is it suitable for missions?
I dont have a salvager, I will rather use salvaging drones. in the bay I will have probably only light drones and no medium drones. I simply want to create laser at least one laser boat and nice tank and paladin seems best from amarr ships for this purpose, because he have a nice utility, great damage (confla 948) and scorch (677)
It should be cap stable most of the time...

I've only started playing EVE like 2 months ago, but if someone with experience looked at this fit, I'm guessing they would probably tell you to swap out the two EANMs for mission specific hardeners. That should give you enough resists to drop one of the large reps and still have enough tank with Paladin's rep bonus, so you can fit another heat sink.
Can't comment about the capacitor (but at a glance it looks over-stable, so many wasted midslots and rigs), or the guns (because I've not flown anything bigger than a cruiser).
Try building around a single rep and see what you can do with all that freed up capacitor. Point first, immediately regret later. |

1) The Nosferatu doesn't work like you think it does and won't work like you think it does after the next patch.
2) Short of salvage as you go configs there is no reason to use a Marauder currently. I'd look at a Navy Apoc (long range), Navy issue Gedden (short), and the Nightmare if you intend to use "lazors".
3)You shouldn't be dual reping. Work on your repair skills, armor skills, and the like.
4) Get rid of one of the Capacitor Control Circuit. If you need to 2 you need to work on weapon upgrades (or is it advanced weapon upgrades), and other cap skills.
5) Adaptive Nano are for pvp get a set of armor resists for the missions damage type. This may be why you need to dual rep.
6) Replace the afterburner with a MJD. Then jump out 100 and burn the frigates down as they charge you. Then jump back.
7) Mission loot isn't as important isk wise as you think. The bounty, and the LP reward are where it's at. Sure you can pop out a salvage drone or 2, but not if it slows you down. Former forum cheerleader CCP, now just a hopeful small portion of the community. |

it worked (and works now as 28 Aug) in missions on every npc as its still percantage based and rats have allways 100% cap. dont know how it will work after 1.1 patch as most npc ships will have signifikant lower absolute cap than a paladin |

Alright lets start with the basics: you got the fit wrong
Paladin can dish out ~1.2k dps which means it can easily obliterate anything l4s can offer.
Cap stability is a niche, its definitely not necessary and most times it hinders your fit.
*Note: in the following fit change the cap booster for 2nd web or 2nd tracking computer when you realize that you don't need it. (gonna take a couple missions ) **Note: Hell even B-type hardners are a bit overkill... you can do it with plain t2s.

Last note: you should NOT rely on salvaging drones you got those bonuses and 3 empty high slots. USE THEM. let the drones kill frigates and staff.
Ninja edit: DONT use t2 close range dmg ammo, its not worth it. ESPECIALLY with your fit you reduce your tracking too much. Instead use faction multifrequency |

Actually, its been a long time, but drop even the first Heavy Cap booster... and change the rigs to CCC's and you will have enough cap to run that. |

meh you're probably right about the 4th heatsink... maybe a tracking enhancer.
But for the rigs CCCs is a waste imo :\
t2 dmg rig does give a wooping 100dps increase (+its really affordable) |

One more time with feeling. L4s are about gank. CCCs are fitting rigs for the low skilled and subtract from gank. Cap stability is way overrated and always subtracts from gank.
If you wish to do L4 missions while dealing out 500dps. Be my guest. See you in a few hours. |

Don't use flashy bling bling shitmfor missions. Use a t1 boat with t2 mods and revise fit accordingly. That way if you deep and it pops, DC, get drunk, whatever, then its a much much smaller loss.
Build your ship around range and you'd be surprised what you can do

I dont like using.. Mission specific hardener. Sometime i am using that hardener which can switch ressists based on damage i am receiving. So thats one important condition (omni tank 600+ with nice damage) i forgot to mention.
And its nearly impossible to have such a great tank with anything else than paladin, abbadon, legion and be cap stable without anyproblem. (To have everything at once, in the same time i am using also tengu so it must be safe that nothing can surptice me). Currently i am flying legion + tengu but legion lacks range.
Only paladin can do some nice damage and stay cap stable, drones will salvage everything i just need tractor to save them time.
I dont know what to put into high slot so thats why i put there nosferatu. (Something else will be probably better)
I simply trying to make something as mybtengu with omni tank 650 /dps 850 / speed 650...
And i want to create laser boat. |

But i will give it try and go for mission specific hardener. (I will probably try at first one of the t1 ships or navy ship ... Will see but currently i own abbadon, armageddon (i have very good skills in drones too).So i can try one of them at first or i can buy apo navy or armagedon navy .....
Currently i cant fly marauder and nightmare. (Low skills but i will have it maxed in 50 days). I want to prepare a build for it.
I should be able to use any t2 equip (maybe not things which i never used ans i also dont have well trained shields). I will prefer armor tank where i have a skills and thats another problem of nightmare. (Its shield tank)

There were one more option - rattlesmake (but again i dont have caldari and gallente battleship and shields) so it will take a long life and i want laser boat. |

I would suggest using tachyons instead of pulses since they have much better range while giving the same DPS. You also won't have to use scorch which only lasts 1000 shots compared to faction crystals which last an average of 4000.
With decent skills you can get a tach paladin that does about 950 DPS to 50km with a prop mod that's practically cap stable BUT a marauder rebalance will be coming probably in late October/ early November so things could drastically change in the coming months. |
