..already got some for my mental condition, no worries.
Here's my issue:
I've been playing on and off .. and I always end up doing the following:
- Mission for ISK - Mine for ISK - Skill up to next goal that's gonna make the game fun - Make sure my implants are safe to not disrupt that training - Avoid too much pvp cuz my JC's are only on +3's - Mission for ISK - ... you get the idear.
In short .. I'm hung on the stupid idear that I need to be training skills asap in order to make the game more fun, doing boring **** all the time. On the other hand, I need ISK for PVP ...
Is there any known cure for this issue not called PLEX ? |

Good company.
Eve isn't a good solo game. Find a good corporation/alliance, share in their goals, work at achieving them. Friends (& blood enemies) are what make this game fun. |

Yes.
Move to closest trabehub that's not jita.
Buy Hyperion.
Fit large smartbombs.
Undock and keep floating until you're in smartbombing distance.
Light 'em.
It works, i've tested it. :)
edit: please note that every spot where you cause lots of confusion and death is perfectly appropriate. |

There isn't anything wrong with scamming, but you have to put a lot of hours copying and pasting crap and maybe once every few hours someone bites and even then they might not end up getting you a lot of isk.
But it doesn't cost you must to get started so if you have nothing better to do.
Though, people who station trade make more money. You need to understand markets for that to work though. "Entitlement" is a euphemism for "I hate the way you play and it makes me cry like a baby". If you fantasize about being immoral it means you enjoy being immoral deep down. |

Your post is not very informative. How is the guy supposed to scam if all you just say "that's not how it's done"?
From my experience most people scam in Jita and various other channels with either bots or constant copying and pasting. If you don't do that, how are they going to know that you are going to double their isk or have this awesome contract?
I suppose you can margin trade scam, but you need to be wealthy to begin with and hope that someone eventually sees the order.
There is always corp theft, but that always takes a while before you get into a position to steal. "Entitlement" is a euphemism for "I hate the way you play and it makes me cry like a baby". If you fantasize about being immoral it means you enjoy being immoral deep down. |

People spamming "double your isk" scams in Jita bring shame to real scam artists. It's probably for the best that your ~space morals~ don't allow you to scam anyway. Hopefully the OP isn't similarly constrained. |

You seem to have a bug up your but about it. I know I can be an evil player so I don't have any qualms with being evil. I once made a bit of money of an isk double scam once.
Anyways, you aren't being helfpul to the OP if you tell him to scam and yet don't really tell him what the appropriate way of scamming is. OP...
Take all the ISK you have earned... invest it into some frigates and fittings... join a PvP organization... move your stuff close to where said PvP corp operates... fly with them... listen and learn from them... adopt their mentality(ies)... make connections... use them... earn more ISK... and blow stuff up inbetween all these steps. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

what kind of pvp are you doing?
flying t1 frigs with a small corp on faction warfare, doing nothing but pvp, will allow you to break even. you can even afford the odd cruiser two or three times a week, maybe even an AF.
if you put "some" work on it by plexing or doing a few lvl4s with a few corpies a day, you can fly navy ships almost all the time.
the problem is if you expect to plex your account AND play the game... forget it, its either one or the other. |

Thanx for the replies people .. much appreciated!
I have been in various corps .. including but not limited to pvp corps based in low, pvp corps renting sov, pvp corps ownin sov .. all ending me up tagging along in underfit ships dieing first, not having all that much fun and stretching my online times cuz the fun people live in australia it seems ... most of the time spend waiting to fleet up, roam a few hours, and then find ways to replace lost hulls and try again. Before I commit again, I wanna have fun first
All the while feeling like I'm loosing SP cuz I'm in a JC.
How many of you dont give a rats ass about SP and are always in a JC, not training all that fast ? Or do people have reasonably trained alts for specific fun-events, and a main to play when there's action in corp ? |

Ninja Salvaging looting
It's been a long......long time since I've ninja salvaged and looted. There used to be a lot of tears involved. Now with the loot nerf, with the noctis, with the suspect flag I would assume it's almost impossible but, there is hope.
Key is preparation. First, find a good...busy level 4 mission hub. Make a safe spot or three. Anchor a couple of GSC's at each. Next find a ship that you can fit an expanded probe launcher and at least 4 salvagers and that is reasonably fast & intimidating. My ship of choice was the Thorax. I looted a many of wrecks of some juicy loot right in front of the missioner.
The idea here is to probe out missioners in BS's or T3's running level 4. Salvage the multi-room missions while the missioner is in the next room. Looting wrecks these days takes a bit of knowledge. Some specific wrecks in specific missions dropped specific items that were worth a pretty iskie. Worlds Collide Overseer was one of those that had a chance of dropping faction loot worth 40mil. Faction missions where wrecks drop tags, I would assume are worth more than they used to be these days.
Use the GSC's to offload without going to station since you'll be flagged suspect. Rinse and repeat.
With the Thorax, I was able to loot wrecks right in front of missioners without repercussions. On occasions their entire corp would attempt to hunt me down. Having the GSC's helped since I didn't have to go back to station to offload.
Try it. Maybe you can make it to work. HTFU!...for the children! |

Hello OP,
I know this situation all too well myself. I was hunting for isks for years in highsec, and it kept me from doing anything enjoyable in this game. Isks are a curse and severely overrated. After I got rid of most of my assets, I was amazed how far you can get in EVE with a more or less empty wallet.
Let go of your Isks. Only after you have lost everything you are truly free.
(and yes, I am fully aware of the irony and expecting some CFC smugposts about TEST coming up) Just think of how bad an average post by me is, and then realize half of them are even worse |

.. yeah .. I tried that .. you'd be amazed at how little fleet ops accept a rooky ship ISK is not the main issue tho .. I dont mind grinding missions a bit to replace a lost ship .. it's the part where I always feel like enjoyable EVE is 3 skills away, and doing anything where I expect to get possibly podded, would mean slower training as my JC's dont even have implants with my current cash balance...
I'm sort of affraid that I will fall behind if I slow training .. yet I've always been 3 to 4 skills away from enjoyable EVE .. so clearly I'm doing something wrong and need some inspiration .. I'll deffinately try St0ner Smurfs gig a bit ... that looks like casual fun, but that still leaves me with a main that I feel needs moar skills all the time .. while I'm probably perfectly able to play a fun game with him not giving a **** about my skill training.
If I go red, I loose my mission ability and thus my ISK source .. yet most of the fun in this game seems to be had when blinky red
