Suggestion: Shortcut to duplicate PI configs/routes Keywords: pi, planetary interaction, shortcut Note: Product routes, facilities and facility configs
Idea 1: Shift-Click for applying a route to multiple destinations. After clicking Create Route, the user holds Shift and clicks on all of their Industry Facilities in turn. This creates a route of the selected commodity from the source to all of the destinations, without requiring re-clicking on Create Route each time.
Idea 2: Alt-Click for applying selected facility's config to a facility of the same type. After selecting a facility which has a schematic and product route already defined, the user holds Alt and clicks on all other facilities of that type. The schematic and product route of those facilities are set to the same value as if the user had defined them identically in the interface, without requiring re-configuring all other facilities. If a product route is not possible from the target facility, display an appropriate message. While the user is holding Alt, optionally highlight compatible facilities in the UI and dim incompatible facilities.
Idea 3: Shift-Click for constructing multiple facilities of the same type. After selecting the facility in the left-hand menu, the user holds Shift and clicks in several places on the planet surface. This constructs a facility of the selected type without requiring re-clicking on the facility type in the left-hand menu.
We already have a Ctrl-Click for adding Planetary Links. This would massively decrease config time and reduce hate mail volume, so it's a win all around. |

Suggestion: in contracts, where you select a character to make the contract out to, there is a drop down for phrase match, exact match etc.
make this drop down remember the last choice. i always use exact match, as i always know exactly who i'm making the contract out to. having to keep changing it is a small thing, but it's annoying.

If it does turn out to be useful for some reason, it would be nice to at least have the default be three months. Alternatively, it might be interesting to make broker fees scale with duration. |

This post stems from a conversation with Sard Caid and CCP Karkur on Twitter. I'm primarily posting this so that there's a record of it. To the best of my knowledge this affects anywhere that uses the ingame WYSIWYG text editor, including possibly notes, character bios, etc.
As one example of this issue, I maintain a channel for friends to hang out in which has a quick reference MOTD containing a bunch of system and website links. The channel displays ingame as being 285/4000 characters, but has in fact had its' end chopped off due to hitting the character limit. When copy-pasted to an external editor and cleaned of the "EVE System" prefix, it's clear that 3,040 characters are being stored including the markup used for links and formatting (still not 4000 though? odd that it chopped off).
Ideally the entire editor could use a redo as it also does not always strip unused tags correctly, in multiple forms, but I realize that it would be a lot of work and feel sorry for whoever gets that task some day. For now, this Little Thing would be a major help. Twitter: @Valtrinor |

- Notes: Setting multiple waypoints could be made much easier by using the Radial Menu, rather than just the Right-Contextual.

This idea could be Extended: When the user chooses 'Set Destination' on an initial location, the Radial Menu [Set Destination] option is replaced by [Add Waypoint]. That way, the next location will be added as an additional waypoint, instead of an entirely new route. There would have to be an option that accompanies this, to disable it.
For convenience, of course.

When a lab or production facility is deployed at a POS, its settings should default to allowing corporation member usage, rather than the current where it demands the config starbase equipment and starbase fuel technician roles.

Keywords: UI, text box, drop down, auto-fill Notes: Currently, everything you type in a text box (contract window (recipient, destination, notes, description), peoples and places, market search box, etc) is stored somewhere and as soon as you start typing in these boxes, the auto-fill drop down list appears. This is extremely helpful as you don't need to type the ever same words again and again ... until you make a mistake and suddenly you have 2 entries for the same purpose in the list, or 3 if you decide to change the formatting or wording. I would like to see a way where I can access these stored text strings and delete unnecessary ones. |

- Notes: Currently anyone can create a mailing list and send it out to anyone, however, only the owner can control the access of the list. Currently there is no way to find out who "controls" the mailing list to request changes ect.
