Be mindful about where you go... always be ready for immediate escape... and/or move to a more "quiet" area for a small bit.
Alternatively, you can...
- contact the person with the rights and explain what happened... ask that they never activate the kill rights because you are a poor noob. The risk in this is that you'd tip them off that they actually HAVE kill rights on you (most people never check and never know about it) and/or they might not be a very nice person.
- have a friend or alt buy the kill rights for you (via negotiations) and keep them "safe." The risk is that your friend could be a **** and the kill right for funsies... or you forget who you are and activate them on yourself. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

So basically once imposed I'm stuck with it? I did contact them and explain to them what had happened, but this was after they did the "Kill Right?" |

You don't have to be "stuck" with the KR for a month, you can try to "dump" it. See how much it costs and ask a friend to buy it and kill you. The KR is based on ship loss, ANY ship loss will consume the KR so your pal can activate it and shoot you while you are in a shuttle or noob ship.
Alternatly you can grab a destroyer os something to make it somewhat atractive and stay off the jita undock, someone will eventually buy the KR, activate it and kill you, thus ridding you of this annoyance.
Please note the KR also allows people to pod you, so take precautions. |

Yup, what I like to do is simply fit up something cheap and put myself into the position where it's attractive to activate. Flying around a trade hub's undock works, so does hopping gates back and forth on a busy route. Just watch for it's activation and warp out the pod. Bounce untill your session timer is gone, then dock for 15 minutes untill the Suspect timer is gone. Just remember to always warp out the pod, don't try to jump gates or dock as soon as you blow up. The session timer will prevent you from doing so. |

Wow.... Well, I haven't played long enough to have any one to buy it for me. Sadly....We talked back and forth this morning. Nice guy/gal...said they were bored with Eve, They have left and come back several times. So they are gone again for now. I guess my best bet is to get them to blow me up some how? I do have one ship I could loose. I think..if I understand it right. Once they get my ship...to run around till' time expires? Thanks guys for your help...4 days in and I "Screwed the Pooch!" |

Is it a public kr and what is the cost to clear it?
If it is not public, then you only need to avoid the pilot or corp it is assigned to.
If it is public and the fee is reasonable, I will pay and clear it for you if you really are 4 days old (on tablet and haven't looked it up) . Just contact me in game. We can use one of the noob ships to clear it, so you won't loose any isk or ship. This is the rule:-á In Eve it's always a trick. If you don't think it's a trick, you just don't have enough experience to know what the trick is. That doesn't mean you shouldn't launch on that fool anyway and roll the dice. |

2. Doesn't matter if it is public or not. If someone activates a killright on you then you go suspect to EVERYONE. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

15 min if i'm not mistaken. You can see if the KR is open to all or what not by loking on the killright tab in the character sheet. There it will say how many days left on the KR, if it's available to all and for what cost. |

Yes I know that. But if its public, I could activate it and kill his rookie ship, thereby getting rid of the kr. If it isn't public, then there isn't any way for me to help. The only way to get rid of the kr before it expires in 30 days is to die in some ship while you are suspect from someone activating the kr. This is the rule:-á In Eve it's always a trick. If you don't think it's a trick, you just don't have enough experience to know what the trick is. That doesn't mean you shouldn't launch on that fool anyway and roll the dice. |

Ah I misunderstood, sorry.
There are (shamefully) quite a few people out there who still believe that when you activate a killright it only sets a person suspect to the killright holder... not to everyone. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |
