Hello everyone. I have read over a lot of the material linked in the thread at the top however some of it seems out dated. I just have a simple question. I have found myself with some room to install a few labs on my POS and wondered what would be easiest / best. I will have two Advanced Labs. I have access to some fairly nice blueprints. What is usually the easiest / least time intensive way to make money with the Labs? Thanks in advance. |

Probably making copies. Depends on the market. Also selling researched BPO for things like fuel blocks might be profitable. |

Hmmm ok. That could work for me. if I have my tower in a Wormhole is is a bad idea to bring BPs in in case you get evicted? Can I still remove them or do they get locked in? |

Yes, to make copies your originals need to be in the same system as your lab. The minimal risk route involves having a corporate office in a station and using scientific networking skill to leave the BPO in the undestroyable station and the copies appear in the labs when complete. Since you're in a wormhole, you can't do it that way - you have to put the BPO in the labs. If you get evicted, you could run the risk of losing the originals. Many people bash POS specifically because of the potential loot pi+Ķata.
The more lucrative originals and copies are of capital items, and that involves having very expensive blueprints in the labs for very long periods of time (more than a year for material research for the typical capital doohickey).
One line of business that some folks seem to do well in, involves researching fuel block BPO and selling the result. You can get to perfect ML and a reasonable level of PL in about a week.
Depending on the PI available in your wormhole, it might be worth making T2 drones (sample). You'll need to import the datacores and construction component.
If your skills are sufficient, perhaps you might put up an experimental lab and make T3 blueprints from the sleeper stuffs. |

Oh nice... I like that idea of using the sleeper loot in the Experimental Labs to get T3 BPCs. I think I will give that a shot and see how it works for me. Thanks a lot for all the input. It was very helpful. |

You can also dabble in t2 invention, although it is skill intensive if you choose the right item it can be very profitable. I once podded myself by blowing a huge fart. |

Yeah, if your POS is in a wh, I wouldn't recommend setting up advanced labs to do copying from because it just screams shoot me, I have lots of shiny BPOs that might drop in my POS!!!
Unless of course you are apart of a large corp and are fine with taking on the isk risk and are capable of fending off a decent size attack. Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012. |
