Yep, another Jump Clone timer thread,
I cannot understand any logical reason why there is a 24h timer between clone jumping. Is there a solid reason for this?
Benefits of having no JC timer; I think that removing the JC timer will lead to a more faster paced economy. Speeding up the economy in this way could be an ISK sink in itself; people can travel to their desintions quicker; whether that be to pvp, pve, mine or trade. I'm sure if the timer was removed, and a Jump Fee was added, that wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Considering they've just introduced a skill to reduce the cycle time this isn't going to happen.
Also i don't think you should be able to travel anywhere instantly without some repercussions. |

I am not aware of the new skill, i will look into it.
What repercussions would you suggest, other than a Jump Fee of some sort? Jita 4/4, the heart and soul of New Eden. |

Since we now can have 10 JCs per character, to not have any timer is just ludicrous. That would just allow people to have too much force projection and make Eve even smaller then it already is. Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012. |

Those that want instant travel can Med Clone about at the cost of what ever implants they have in their heads.
I'm a firm believer that if your JC is in the same station then you should be able to do a direct swap maybe with a small (2-4 hour cooldown) but that's by the by.
RTFS on Patch Notes and use the search button. This will stop you looking a fool with another JC Timer post and add to your knowledge of EVE and the why's and wherefores of this suggestion. The restriction on JC is mostly so people can't hop around, changing the clone in the same station without timer shouldn't break anything for anyone.
I guess it would affect the "your choices matter".
I was never a fan of ideas like JC every 4 hours but this would work. But to be honest the current system is good enough for me.

I think a bit more of an decrease in Jump Clone timer would be good. maybe down to 12 hours or something. BUt no timer at all? **** no. |

A NORMAL person playing a couple of hours a day thanks to this skill will be able to log off and the day after on log in choose to continue his activity in "somewhere" or clone jump to another activity "somewhere" because there's no longer a 23.3H delay but about 19.3H if I'm correct, excuse my numbers if they're not but you get the main idea.
Now all this disturbs is people without brains, bitters and silly people.
Want to JC from point A to B with an unimplemented clone? -just set you clone home where you want, undock your pod and ask someone to shoot you or just sef destruct. 2min instead of 20+hours, there you go.
