After that nice little addition of speed built in and 37.5% shield boost bonus anyone seen a dual large ancillary shield boosted vagabond fail and/or succeed? I would test it out on SiSi but my installation's being a finicky and it refuses to launch without crashing. |

Why would you fit dual ASB? -just asking because I see nothing really positive but a very limited number of situations where it's maybe useful. 220's mwd and build rest around, with an ASB you need to be sure it will make your ship survive long enough to deliver LSE+30% at least in EHP value, if not then just fit something else. Just an opinion of course. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

They work decently for catching fast stuff with dualprop, scram and xlasb. Problem is that you have to watch out you don't get alpha'd. The ab helps evade damage from bigger guns like from a talos. |

Lol ASB's.
Why use an ASB when you can use a normal shield booster? |

Because the ASB boosts more, and requires no cap with boosters. :p and you need to pimp fit to even match the ASB. |

With navy booster charges the LASB give far more shields than a shield extender would give without bloating signature radius. I had in mind a brawler vaga to annoy talos' and deimos', because blaster boats. |

Which is why he said more shields than an extender, given that the best way to look at ASB fits is total ehp rather than tank. More caps=more ehp.

Just letting you guys know that the dude you're mocking is correct
You get more out of an ASB with navies than with normal boosters. When you talk about how much you get out of an ASB because of the insane boost amount you generally talk about how much shield HP you get from a single load.
So what he is saying is that you get more from unloading a LASB than from having an LSE. Think before mocking.

We know. The guy we mock however does not because else his post would be irrelevant. |

You are right because of number of charges, however and it's a personal opinion, 2 LASBs limit your fitting options while a single LASB+LSE offers another configuration that might be more interesting overall. I think you got my point when I was saying XLASB+LSE > to double LASB *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

For the Vaga i would say LASB + LSE is far superior, largely because it doesn't really have any natural buffer.
I was just saying that technically he was correct. BYDI recruitment closed-ish |
