Luance de Angeluotti,
While it isn't common practice for the 1st Praetorian Guard to concern itself over the remains of enemies of the Empire, the incendiary nature of the subject of a Vitoc cure resulted in the biomass you seek being coded "special interest".
Excerpts of the AAR from the Battleship IS Imperium Eternum indicate the following.
"...one corpse subsequently identified as Seraphin DeAngeluotti recovered from space. Upon docking concerns over the subject's involvement with possible projects harmful to the interests of the Empire required the corpse be transferred to the (CONFIDENTIAL) research facilities for further testing..."
Normally we would consider this the end of the subject, but in light of the humanitarian nature of your request for return of the body additional investigations were carried out. Our records indicated
"...as per standard procedure 238691-N-22 Alpha, the balance of the biomass not required for testing was turned over to general services for labor force supplemental nutritive processing..."
If you are truly distraught over the "death" of your sister we can assume her lack of foresight in preparing a suitable clone is only exceeded by her lack of foresight in positioning herself in conflict with the Amarrian Empire. Perhaps you can take comfort in the knowledge that while your sister was unable to foolishly contribute to the health of the Empire's labor force through a vitoc cure she was able to at least indirectly contribute to their nutrition.
Furthermore, if you are still determined to perform some ceremony for your sister's remains we would be happy to inquire when the (CONFIDENTIAL) facility forcasts being done with the tissue samples currently in their possesion. At that point we can forward them to an appropriate representative.
Based on the expected volume of these tissue samples we would suggest the ceremony be...shall we say...a small one.

I am appalled by your actions.
To deny a brother to lay his sister to rest, this is just ...

Legatus Gazon of the 1st Praetorian Guard,
Your actions are truly despicable.
First you deny a brother a chance to mourn his sister, then you demand 100 million ISK for the return of the body (done in a message to myself, when I was with Luance in Coreli). And now even before the 2 weeks deadline you gave in the message you destroy the body.
I shall not forget this.
Sash Windu of the Ushra'Khan
Luance, as always, I stand ready to help.

She foolishly decided to ambush the Guard on an operation and was transformed into biomass in the process.
She was an enemy of the Empire (as proven by her actions) and was handled as per the according standard procedures. Thus even in death the snake served some higher purpose. It's all totally legal and in accordance with the regulations handling foreign carcasses released by the Theology Council.

Please Lijah, your disgust only stems from your not having a readily available corpse of Seraphin to sell at 80M ISK to undercut Gazon's offer.
Gazon - odd terms Praetorian - exchanging in biomass are we?

That's a cruel statement. I know Lijah and for him to do such would be completly out of his realm of thought.
Anyways, this is truely a disgusting act. Your fellow Ammarians would for the most part seem to agree. -------------------------------- "You Know, And I Know... The Spears Are In Our Sides."

What delicious irony. Only the Gallente, purveyors of every form of degradation to body, mind and soul, could finally rouse themselves to selfrighteous indignation over a simple case of waste disposal.
No doubt lurid holovids of maniacal Amarrians gleefully tossing limbs and torsos to starving slaves are already in production. Please...spare us all your posturing hypocrisy.
If the Gallente are squeamish over waste recycling I suggest you avoid researching your ship's onboard water supply.
The simple lesson in all of this for the Federation or it's citizens like the unfortunate Seraphin DeAgeluotti, is to stay out of the Empire's business.
And make no mistake...the Minmatar are OUR business.

Don't be silly Mr Stormborn. The kind of favour earnt for returning the final corpse of a loved one is worth far more than a paltry 8mil in small change. Be that as it may, it doesn't change the fact that the actions of the Praetorian Guard are simply revolting in this case.

Why, of course there is! But it hardly applies to the carcasses of sub-humans. As my fellow Legatus stated, our actions were well within regulations and standard procedures.

I'm leaning towards concern. Concern that you didn't try harder to get the 100 million ISK out of him. -------------------------------------[04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk

To shed some light on the 100 million ISK issue: The money was intended to be given to Amarr authorities to finance research to counter a possible Insorium drug. But then the Gallente showed the volatility inherent in their racial genome when Coreli Corporation changed course out of nothing. 1st Praetorian Guard command believed that the matter had settled itself and initiated standard biomass recycling procedures, except for the aforementioned tissue samples.
It was after that that citizen deAngeluotti brought up the issue of his sister's carcass again, so we offered him the samples as last discernible remaints. Sadly, the records of the slave nuitrition production facilities are not detailed enough to give him the registration codes of the rations in question (if they haven't served their purpose already).
Up to this date citizen deAngeluotti has not taken any steps towards recovering the remaints of his sister except for filing a CONCORD request to sanction hostilities between his quaintly named corporation and the 1st Praetorian Guard.

Sometimes, I think that the best recruiters the Ushra'Khan could wish for are the Amarr paramilitaries themselves. With Gazon's public admission here, the unambiguous inhumanity of our enemies is laid bare for all to see. There is the disgraceful lack of decency with regard to the remains of a young Federation woman. If that is not bad enough, we are given to understand that in some quarters of the Empire, our enslaved brethren are being forced to subsist on a diet that contains recycled biomass. What an abhorrent practice. To think they call us barbarians and terrorists when they are prepared to sink to any depth, practice any act of utter depravity, and commit crime after disgusting crime against humanity in the name of God.
See what we're up against? See why this is the fight that has to be? Join the Ushra'Khan today and help bring about a new world order where men and women are free, and the dead aren't tomorrow's dinner.

Tell us again, o' righteous ones, that the slavery poured on the heads of my people is for enlightenment.
Poison drips from your lips.
Hollow you are on the inside, all that was human is gone, and what is left is cold and brittle.
Cling to your faith, and pray for your afterlife, but here, create a hell of hells for the living.
Balance will soon come, and in the ashes you will finally see the truth of it.

You people toss and turn over this death. Words of such force are used.
But you are blind.
My life is in constant shadow of such merciless death. Death has become a neccesity of life to me and many, we thrive off it. In defence of my homeland i kill all that tresspass into Intaki space. Mainly traitors and liars from the Federation. Many relatives of mine have been executed on false accusations of treachary and treason to the Federation. Now they shall feel my wrath.
The Federation is at such strenghts at present only extreme acts on individuals such as this are heard. We fight for freedom, but we have become terrorists. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sarkos stares at his vidscreen in disbelief.
You feed recycled biomass to the slaves? *BLINK* I think I'm going to be ill. How is it one who considers himself civilized can utter this practice with a clear concience? How truely far the Amarr Empire has fallen is this is an example of your civilization.
For many years I have had a libral view on the Amarr, which has been a constant thorn in the side of many of my Ushra'Khan brothers and sisters. For many years I have stated that the Amarr were not inherently evil, and that one should battle slavery and those that support it not the Amarr people.
Now I see things such as ".as per standard procedure 238691-N-22 Alpha, the balance of the biomass not required for testing was turned over to general services for labor force supplemental nutritive processing..." and have to wonder if it's not time I awoke and reevaluated my thoughts on how to deal with such monstrosities.
Either free the slaves or we will come and get them.
