Hello, I've been checking something to lower my optimal range in battle if the ships come to close to me. I've seen Tracking Speed Script attributes are -100% optimal range, so I equipped it with a Tracking Computer, but when I put the mouse over the module out in the space it says 0% optimal range 0% falloff range and 20% tracking speed.
Without it the stats are different, but equipped shouldn't it display -100% attributes instead of 0%?
Thanks, InF3RNo. |

You're confused.
There's no reason to ever *lower* your optimal range. If something is under your optimal range, your tracking is what determines whether you hit or not.
The tracking speed ship doesn't lower your optimal range. The -100% is to the bonus granted by the tracking computer. Normally the tracking computer offers bonuses to range, when using the script it does not. Not a forum alt.-á |

To elaborate on the previous post, there are two scrips you can use with the tracking comptuer, one for optimal range and one for tracking speed. Without any script, the tracking computer will provide small bonuses to both. With the script, only one stat is enhanced, but to a larger degree. www.ensignyooch.wordpress.com |

I also like linking that. Its a bit mathy, but does a good job explaining tracking, distance, sig radius, etc. My twitch stream to help new players: http://www.twitch.tv/biohazrd51
