Aliens is my favorate of the lot.
To be fair, when he gets it right his movies are great and he has a very cool hobby. Avitar was stunning to look at but the story was just fern gully with air support. |

Yup. I understand the need for absolute broad appeal that mad necessary the romance-centric nature of "Titanic". That was indeed a lot of cash dropped to get it out there.
Personally, I would have preferred a Kathy Bates / Molly Brown-centric story, from what little we got of that. Oh well. Why do bikers wear leather ??-á Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.-á -- Paul Lynde |

Same here. Aliens really hit the nail on the head.
Thats where Aliens Vs Predator fell down. It should have been Aliens Vs Predator with Colonial Marines as the meat in the sandwich. "I think you should buy a new Mayan calendar. Mine has muscle cars on it." --áKenneth O'Hara

New Showtime series on Climate Change coming, Executive Produced by James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But article contains this mistake:
""This series presents a unique opportunity to combine the large-scale filmmaking styles of James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub and Arnold Schwarzenegger GÇö arguably some of Hollywood's biggest movie makers GÇö ...."
Let's see the list of all those Schwarzenegger directed films !

I actually kind of liked Freddy vs Jason. Mostly I like Freddy's oh **** face when he realized that he was in the real world and Jason was right there and cue the pig squealing time music. Out of Pod is getting In the Pod - Join in game channel IG OOPE |

Well it least Cameron knows how to direct Schwarzenegger. Limit his lines, and fix it in post-production looping with a sound a like voice talent.( I'm sorry,... what did he say?.).
"You know,... this and that." Yeah,... he was that kind of governor.

Debunked.
At least for now.
Intriguing though is one of the screenwriters for the Avatar sequels wrote the recent "Salinger". Probably a more complex story than the first film will indeed emerge.

Well now that nobody will be yelling to get to any choppas, let's discuss another movie.
Cracked did an article on the new Robocop and I have to say that I agree with every point the author made.
The 2 big ones is the one human hand which just removed a good 20 minutes from the original movie, and the fact that they're throwing in the family because the guy is apparently an emotional basket case rather than a tik tok machine that murders or hospitalizes every criminal he comes across. If I were Paul Verhoeven, I'd be angry right about now at Hollywood remaking that and "Total Recall" already.
Pointless. And boring films the both of them.

hey! i actually rather liked the "total recall" remake. it was far less cheesy than the original. and colin farrell is friggen sexy. it may have been a bit over the top on the action but i legitimately enjoyed the mind bending that went on. i've seen it a couple times now and i'm still not sure if it was all reality that he experienced after going to recall...or if it was all just part of the "experience." |

It does not have an actual Sharon Stone beating the crap out of an actual Schwarzenegger. Boo !

Its the cheesy lines and three titted woman that makes the film. I like all of the little references the put in all over the new film. |

The only thing i liked about the new total recall were the cyberpunk elements in the colony and the truly mind bending architecture in the UK.
Why they couldnt have followed the original plot is beyond me.
Also the cheesyness is what made it great. It oozed 80sness and thats why it was good.
A lot of todays films are too sterile and "safe".
Nothing wrong with 18 rated films. Making diehard 4 a 12A was a travesty.

Exactly. And Verhoeven would finally top himself with "Starship Troopers", which is widely considered the most subversive expensive blockbuster ever released. So much wicked humor.
