Maybe I should look at this as a kind of right of passage. Sorta like seeing the EVE gate.
Ugh, I can't believe people live out here.

Parts of Syndicate are controlled by 3FA alliance, these guys are anti pirate. Maybe someone from 3FA can help ya get out of there.

I didn't recieve a warning, but I read the forums enough I should have known better anyhow. Though, I didn't know Syndicate is the worst place to be in all of EVE when you're an extra pretty Prorator with nice shiny silver lines, with blue highlights.

Everything that isnt blue, purple or green in 0.0 gets fried. Get used to it or get out, just a friendly advice .

If you've got a little time and money you could get some mercs to come and bust you out. Or some other anit pirate group. Promise them a local hull expander or two.

Hell yea, there's all kinds of jerks in Syndicate who will not only take your ship away but also videotape it and put it on the internet with witty comments like 'waxed to maxed'.

Edited by: Wesley Harding on 15/01/2006 04:25:02 Your animations were great, Killer.
I've always wanted to try hiring protection, but considering where I am, don't think anyone would be interested unless I bought them a HAC or something.

Someone offered me their services and I accepted. I'm now out of 0.0 space, and am fully intact. The nice thing about EVE is there is real risk, but also that there are those to help minimize that risk. I'm very thankful for that and will not forget this night anytime soon.

Quote: I'm going to throw up.
I know I wanted to get out and meet new people, but this is not what I had in mind.
LOL I can sympathize, this could easily have been me. I've been exploring low sec space and thinking about trying to sneak into 0.0 for the heck of it. Fortunately, I'm in the habit of using expendable ships and my implants are cheap.
Congrats on getting in and out in one piece. Sounds like quite the adventure!

Glad you got out. 0.0 really isnt as bad as you think if you have friends out there and you know how to avoid the hot zones with insta's and alternate roots. Well thats if you want to avoid the hot zones
They key to it is intel. If you know whats ahead then you can avoid it and if your not sure, dont go there with something expensive. Please resize your sig. It is too large. (max size is 400x120 pixels/24000 bytes) -Falke |
