Originally by: Lord Artemis Rala, First you state that you missed and were absent more than half the war, then you pronounce your overview of the war. Pardon us for not, flying up to you individually to introducing ourselves one by one. The wars we have had have many roles and many aspects. None of the wars have been a large delta formation of the entire alliance flying into enemy territory. A little advice, next time you respond, pay attention to the electronic signatures.
Thank you so very much for the insight "Lord". Although somehow I don't understand how your, um, how shall we put it, "corporate mission duties", in Amarr space advanced your cause in this war. But I suppose one should never let war interfere with far more important personal obligations should one? In any case, please be a dear and pass on my highest regards to your agent in Sharhelund.

You sound like a worm crawling from a hole in the earth after danger has passed, claiming victory and calling AM a chicken, tough your actions spoke for themselves while AM was pecking.

It seems to me that if Aegis Militia were happy with the situation they would not need all this boasting...

I am proud that the The Cyrene Initiative has now an executor corporation that will bring a strong Gallente Alliance to life.
Well fought Madames et Monsieurs!
And if you are Gallente and willing to fight for a better Federation contact Ixion Defense Systems and maybe join them or The Cyrene Initiative....

Sounds like a little frustration. All this hostility towards us. You can't get your hands on us? And yet we seem to still roam free of oppression fron the AM regime. Little boredom goes along ways. Admit it. Don't feel like continueing a war that puts you sitting and waiting. Patience is a virtue which AM hath not have.

What most people fail to understand is that the Aegis Militia was not out to destroy the Cyrene Initiative. Such a thing is impossible with modern cloning. Their purpose was to eradicate the threat that Cyrene posed because of contacts with terrorists. This threat is gone. If you are now a determined, honest corporation, you have AM to thank.

Interesting...
The only activity that could be labelled "contacts with terrorists" was done by the Coreli Corporation that was scheduled to leave the Cyrene for reasons completely unrelated to AM anyway.
So you fought a war to achieve... nothing. The war goals you boast about would happen anyway, even if the AM had taken no action whatsoever.
What you have achieved is to project Ixion as a worthy Gallente fighting force, capable of withstanding attacks while hugely outnumbered and with minimal prior combat experience, effectively creating a fine example for other Gallente corporations to follow.

Edited by: Deosneos on 21/01/2006 16:39:53 I do not think that I have any point left to prove here, but this still has to be said:
"I" have achieved nothing. I am not a member of the Aegis Militia anymore, as my loyalties lay with Khanid II, and I have another, more urgent threat to tend to. edit: In other words: I do NOT speak for AM whatsoever.
However I have seen how Cyrene fights, and I am sure that you have not, having nothing to do with this war whatsoever. There are certainly respectable pilots to be found within Cyrene. On the other hand, the Alliance broke at the first whispers of war. This is not a good example. I am however sure that the ones who stuck around will form a great alliance once, and am sorry you still see this war as an error. It has been for the best.

The alliance broke because it was going to break anyway, not because of anything the AM did. No demands that the AM did were ever met (unless you count the AM demanding things that were already facts anyway).
The fact is that Ixion and Cyrene are now in the exact same palce they would be if there was never a war, except they now have made a name for themselves and some combat experience under their belts. So all in all I would say the war helped them. I guess we agree there...

It seems to me that it was Cyrene who kicked off this press conference, the theme of which is a whole lot of Cyrene sticking their fingers in their ears and yelling "WE DIDN'T LOSE, WE DIDN'T LOSE! LALALALA!"
Fair play. Aegis Militia have plenty of combat experience. They know when they've won. Though they do seem understandibly incredulous at this new standard of victory that Cyrene seem to have...

Flattery will get you nowhere, Rala. Suggestion: next time you recieve intel, act on it. If you would like to address your personal grievances with me then speak to me one on one. Do not descredit your corp or alliance with trivial tidbits that do nothing but detract what respect you have gained from others. To satisfy your smugness tho, yes that was pretty much all I did during the war. My intel and knowledge came straight from the pilots on the front line and the videostreams and CONCORD reports. I never said I was there but I am one of AM's diplomats and so is Graelyn. That means that things him or I may say may be from the alliance as a whole or personal opinions. This is the last personal query I will respond to since I will not continue to detract from the original intent of the communication. ___________________________

As I am not qualified to comment on any relations Cyrene might have had with the Ushra'Khan, I won't say anything about the reasons behind this whole fiasco. Also note that any opinions I state here are entirely my own, and not those of my Tribe, nor of the U'K as a whole.
That having been said, I personally am rather flattered that our name instills enough fear to cause Aegis to act as it did. Instead of attacking us directly they go after weaker prey in true Amarrian fashion.
When you wish to crawl out of your holes and face us, you know where we are. I, for one, will be on the front lines, waiting to send you back to Amar on an autocannon shell.
