This has probably been suggested before but I think it would be cool if there were a stargate somewhere near JITA which, when activated, would send you to a random system anywhere in LoSec or NullSec.
Every ship that used it would go somewhere different so it would be useless for fleets.
It was also be useless for logistics as you wouldn't know where you were going to end up.
However it would be awesome for the Solo PVP'er who wants to live in JITA and get straight into it at a moments notice.
It would be cool to fit up a T1 cruiser and take the Super Highway and then just burn around to see what you find, different region, different opponents every time.
It would be a bit like a PVP Arena but with none of the negative connotations as all the combat would be taking place in normal space.
I believe it would help encourage more Solo PVP and it would be cool to sit near it and watch what kind of players went through, and maybe hear their stories when they came back.
Probably quite easy to program too. |

Anyone using this will promptly be murdered in the face by whoever lives/hunts in the "random" system you get sent to. You can howl "EVE has consequences" without context or explanation at whoever you like. This will not make it true. |

That's kind of the point, you use it when looking for a fight.
Moreover they won't be expecting you, you may land in the middle of a mining op, or a huge battle. |

Solo PVP tends to end in 100km long conga lines of ships trying to kill you. Why would you want to get a superhighway to THAT? |

I think it's a cool concept. It would need some sort of lore behind it though. Maybe it could be a wormhole where 1 end is stable and always in the same place, but the other end is so unstable that it drops everyone in different solar systems.
Hisec should not be excluded from the destination systems though. I want there to be tearful cries of "all I want is to pvp, but this damn thing keeps dropping me in Concord infested waters!" lol

The issue with wormholes is you have to get a scanning ship and fly around and scan down the holes and find one which goes to he right place, then go back, get your PVP ship, go back to the wormhole and jump through it.
Which is a lot of hassle, the idea behind the Super Highway is it's really easy just to jump into a fight, if you are new or don't know what you're doing you can just fit up a frigate and try it out.
Morevoer wormholes are two way, meaning you can come back, I think the Super Highway should be one way, meaning if you chose to go you either slow burn back or die.
Gives it much more of a sense of adventure. |

What?
Wormholes already exist in the game with the code to randomly choose a destination.
All you have to do is create one which chooses a destination when you go through it and only has one end.
It's not INCARNA. |

Anyone who says something should be easy to code is not probably not qualified to make such an assessment. As for the actual topic, just use a wormhole. Ransoms are accepted in Isk, Ships, Mods, and Dolls. |

The Gallente border zone is 3 jumps from Jita, that's not even 3 minutes travelling times. I used to get loads of PVP in ignoitton which is 0.4, just don't make the noob mistakes I made which included but were not limited to picking a fight outside the station in full view of the sentry guns in a paper thin destroyer. How about a dedicated PVP system, and 1 way stargates.
* All the major trade hubs have a stargate that leads to an unclaimable nullsec area.
* The arrival point in system is random
* There are no stargates out of this area (to avoid it becoming a super high-way between trade hubs)
* It is too far away from any other system to cyno in or out
* There are no station services
If there is no NPC station - the only way out, is to pod yourself So, maybe add an NPC station, so you can jump clone back and forth- but it has no repair or medical services
In short: any ship that enters will never return
The system has a full complement of planets, moons, ore, and ice, so in theory, a corp could conduct extended operations there.
Looking for a fight? take the jumpgate, but know that your ship, and your clone will not be returning - you can fight there until you die. -Maybe- allow C6 wormholes to connect on rare occasions, so that players can leave, but it still is not useful as a transit route
Unlike WHs, this mechanic sends all players to the same location, thus making it much better if you want a fight. |

Move out of Jita.
PvP hotspot hub systems:
Huola (great market in both stations) Flosewin or Frerstorn Vlillirier Nennamaila? Orvolle - 1 jump to null, 2 to lowsec cal/gal FW front Stacmon ostingele
plus im sure many more I don't know about.
Once you get out of being new and living in Highsec you will find your request is moot, taken care of by regular everyday life in lowsec. |

would be horribly exploitable ....
from the top of my head:
- get a alt with cyno skills - move his medical to jita - buy lots of cynos & fuel - jump the gate till you land in a system of your chosen enemy corp behind their lines - light cyno - ........ |
