doh
Its also very laggy in certain 0.0 systems, which are empty.
But we've all heard it all before, though that systems sounds abit fubard.
Its also interesting how sometimes certain people CTD at the same time.. sometimes in the same place and sometimes in totally different regions. Same thing happens in other games, just curious as to why it happens.

Coz 15 systems or more are shared on 1 PC
5000 systems divided by 147 nodes in EvE cluster is 34 systems per node (or PC), with Jita, Rens and Oursulaert having 1 node by themselves.
When 1 node gets sick, 34 systems get sick too. ----------------

Iam sry. But that ISNT GM¦s like...
We wrote all a Peti and got the answer to delete our Cache folder.
Iam sry. BUT you are funny. We (or I) cant ever delete my Cache if i got a problem. The Folder is LARGE and important tbh.....
Also last stuck we all got moved by a GM into a "lagfree" system.
This GM needed more time to answer me on my Peti then he need to drop me (and us) into the next system.
BTH but that isnt funny.

yes by asking you to re-log and clear your cache, which doesn't work.
For the lucky ones they'll move you 1 jump forward to another stuck system, then send you the afore mentioned reply, so you can rinse and repeat.
Only 17 jumps to go, might be there by DT

Well I've been waiting for 30+ minutes now for the GM to reply to my last message, so they are obviously busy.
It would be alot easier for them to move the whole gang/fleet from the stuck location FORWARD one jump to a unstuck system, rather than the usual thing they do which is move you one jump back, which means you have to either re-enter the stuck system or travel 30+ extra jumps to get to the point where you would have been if they'd moved you forward one jump.
The message:
Hi there. Please try to log out, rename the 'cache' folder in your EVE directory to 'cache2', restart your client and log in again. This might solve the problem.
Which all of my gang recieved doesn't appear to fix the problem and after they have recieved aprox 30+ or more stuck petitons you'd think they'd look into the problematic systems
Stupidity got us into this mess, and stupidity will get us out of it! |

not sure about anyone else but i found it difficult to make sense of that
from what i gather you don't want to delete your cache folder? one trick i've found in this case is to rename the cache founder cache2 and make a new empty folder named cache ... this way you can see if it'll fix the problem without losing everything and can try restoring the old cache later

Think he meant, the GMs always ask ppl to delete cache whenever there is any problem. He is trying to say, this is not a solution. With some problems, like this one, it isnt about cache. All the GMs need to do is to move. Problem solved with 1 click than with several sentences of text and waiting.
