I have a feeling that, given a valid target, there would be a LOT of people looking to take down POCOs belonging to the miner-bumpers ... they would likely figure they'd get a fight out of it or eliminate some assets.
Doesn't really bother me any, I live in W-space and do my PI there. |

I'm just looking forward to being able to destroy more stuff without getting hotdropped ... (and before you say it -- yes, I'm terrible at EVE).
... though I'd kill to be able to siege a dread on top of said POCOs ... One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

I think it will be a great idea for the New Order to own some pocos. Sure they will prolly transfer them to someone who is not in the NO, but you can still wardec that corp and take down the pocos. A nice feature that is going to bring good fights, and maybe you miners will actually lean to PVP and get the revenge you keep crying and moaning about. |

There are many possibilities. One is allowing high sec residents to pay a tax to be allowed to keep pocos in their corp ownership. A poco permit of sorts. Another is for more agents to officially join CODE so that the wardec costs are accurate. Yet another option is to have one of the many friendly nullsec alliances hold title to the pocos. I'm assuming that the mechanics will not permit people in NPC corps to anchor a poco... I wouldn't know, I've never bothered with them before.

Give Me all of your POCOs and I will pledge 1% taxes forever after and vow to hire mercenaries to protect them.
I shall create new corporations (with alts of course) and name them each after former Nobel Peace Prize winners, Mahatman Ghandi, Reverand Teresa, and Nelson Madela
All of the proceeds from the small tax rate will be divided evenly betwen EVE University, Red vs Blue fleet, and perhaps Brave Newbies (should they be brave enough to occasionally come to the causes aim)
GIVE ME your POCOS, and the "Everyman" of New Eden shall prevail , the powerless shall become stronger, the new players shall find a joy for fighting ! |

James, anything gained by your current tactics will be taken from you. Just keep angering people and pushing them around with your superior attitude. You have a deluded vision that you are somehow saving hi-sec, all you are doing is winding up the spring on a very large population of players. The day will come that it can not be wound any further. You might consider that when that day comes... when you finally all snap and take up arms... on that day he will have won.
It IS possible, personal greed is a powerful motivation. To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Using an alt at the time, I saw this frightening super weapon in action!
Two destroyers obliterated a newbie's venture ship!!
Later I saw the remains of a cruiser floating near its victim - a tech 1 industrial wreck!!!
And in the past, I saw secure containers floating in the asteroid belts of the New Order's home system claiming miners have mined there peacefully. Must be a ruse to throw unsuspecting players off. |

I think the problem with this thinking is the lack of understanding that a good deal of non-high sec care bears thought James was cute at first, but have decidedly gotten tired of his forum **** and **** posting.
I have a sinking suspicion that some PVP oriented corps and alliances (as in non-carebear) detest James and would like nothing better than to shoot at him.
Besides, the POCOs will all be owned by alliances anyways which are expensive to war dec. "Entitlement" is a euphemism for "I hate the way you play and it makes me cry like a baby". If you fantasize about being immoral it means you enjoy being immoral deep down. |

Me too, it was a pair of NPC alts with similar names wearing the NO dogma proudly in their bios, one in a Catalyst and one in a cloaky Badger. We decloaked the badger and ganked it and the Catalyst, then podded both. Didn't see him or a single NO peon again. Not a very effective superweapon to be honest. You don't scare me. Did you get bullied in kindergarten? I don't remember any bullies at that age. Perhaps you looked funny or rode the short bus? I'm not trying to poke fun, just understand where you are coming from.
I wonder what James 315 was like in kindergarten. Could the other children sense that he was destined to become the Saviour? I bet if there were bullies that he saved the innocent. He probably convinced bullies who were demanding lunch money to change their ways and instead buy lunch for everyone.
I hope we can read these James 315 childhood memories someday on www.minerbumping.com See Bio for isk doubling rules. -áIf you didn't read bio, chances are you helped fund those who did. |
