you wana discus issues with pirate faction cruiser, but you dont even address the issues of the other ships other than the one your interested in....
gila: tank is mostly fine same tank as a navy vexor only shield. same dps as a navy vexor, only the navy vexor trumps it because of drone tracking bonuses, the only thing the gila has over the navy vexor is drone bay. also get rid of the missile role bonuses on gurista ships and change it for drone range and tracking or a slight missile damage buff. needs more cpu too.
phantasm: needs another low slot. more fitting capability, cant fit mwd without gimping the ship. add 10m3 and 10mBit more drone.
ashimu: dont know what issues are with this ship, never flown it.
cynabal: same as previous.

phantasm could indeed use some love
on part of the cynabal i dont see issues it's fast as hell and pack enough damage to compensate for its lack of tank if they buff that slow the darn thing down for sure
vigilant is good as it is it's fast enough has a very nice tank and the damage is very high not to high it's good with a nice web bonus i dotn see any issues on it.
ashimmu nice little boat enough tank and speed it lacks dps compared to the others but it shoudl compensate to kill an oponents tank with the neuts.

Phantasm needs attention most of all and its used much more rarely than other faction cruisers. And I don't think about myself as an "expert" to write about specific details with examples for different situations. I just see that phantasm is more difficult to fit than many t1 cruisers - fit the way its price would be worth its utility. Actually I made an interesting fitting for my interests, but anyway phantasm still lacks 1 low slot and some PG. Especially 1 low slot. OpenSUSE 12.2, wine 1.5 |

cynabal needs a armour and structure nerf and a slight mass increase in exchange for more base speed
vigilant needs a slight all round buff but mainly needs more speed
Ashimmu needs more drone dps switch web strength to a 7.5% range bonus, more pg and speed.
Gila needs a slight nerf -1 slot, smaller dronebay maybe a 50/50 missile to drone damage ratio so change missile range to damage instead and more cpu
Phantasm needs another low slot and another turret and some much needed mobility and much better cap recharge Tech 3's need to be multi role ships not cruiser hulls with battleship tank and insane resists ABC's are clearly T2 in all but name AB's need a buff-á like a big mass reduction ... module tiercide FTW role based instead of tiers please. |
