Moving assembled ships for your alliance buddies would be so much simpler if these assembled ships could be placed into courier contracts. Limit the assembled ship's cargohold to charges only so that the courier package can be placed into a carrier's ship maintenance array. Simple and easy fix that would make so many people's lives so much easier when the order is given to move null staging systems. |

OK, I'll bite. What the hell are you talking about? I've moved assembled ships several times with courier contracts, so I know it is possible. The question is, have you never tried it yourself or why do you not know this? |

I think he means big ships (like a battleship) for a carrier ship maintenance hangar. So far Courier contracts lets you put them into normal cargo space. But not into special hangars.
So each time you want to jump an assembled battleship, you have to trade it to a carrier pilot - as it is too big for a jump freighter, and the contract doesn't allow to put it into the ship maintenance hangar of a carrier. |

If he really meant this, it makes sense. Let's be hopeful, I guess. |

Sorry I was mistaken, I was under the impression that assembled ships couldn't go into courier contracts, as you point out this is not the case. The reason people can't move assembled ships via courier contracts is because they can't be dropped into the carrier's ship maintenance bay. Thanks for clearing this up, I modified the post to fix my error. |
