This. People get hung up on the raw isk from missioning or incursions, when the real money is, and always has been, in the LP stores.
Especially now with exploration continually getting buffed (and people out there killing explorers) Sisters Probes have never been more of a profitable investment. Not posting on my main, and loving it.-á Because free speech.-á |

My sisters mission alt uses a Navy Raven and wait till i get my hands of those new missile launchers coming in Rubicon. Even factoring in the craziness of someone popping the moms early, 12 bil from incursion running is 2.6 to 3.4 hours of incursions per day (. Not hard to do and 2 days ago a TVP FC was talking about his downtime to downtime marathon over the weekend. Why do you think incursion runners are able to afford 5 bil iskn Vindis and machs after a short period of time? All of the above with glancing at local, without scanning down random wormholes, with next to zero risk of losing a ship (i mission in battleships, I get scrammed, i MJD, get out of jail free card). That's not even mentioning the crazyness of going just a few jumps from jita and scanning down cosmos mission runners doing the mission that drops the Michi Implant and stealing from that can (made extra special now because of crime watch lol). Doesn't always work but its better than hoping that MAZE drops something with the words Pith in it. And there are more, way more. Not that you really care lol. And who said anything about spending your whole life in EVE? You asked, I answered and most of my answer is actually less time and effort intensive than anything you've said. You don't have to do all of it at once lol.

No I am currently taking advantage of it now. I don't think this should be the case though I think I should be able to exploit the space I choose to live in instead of having to have alts in highsec. I'm not focusing on missions either, I focus on highsec reward in general, it needs to be reduced proportionate to its risk. That doesn't mean removing content either. Yeah it's been a while since the last time I had any need to grind money or do PvP. These days I let others do the hard work like peasants and the "I made 1B in 8 hours for PvE" does not impress me the least. Auditing | Collateral holding and insurance | Consulting | PLEX for Good Charity

There is a reason you are in low sec crying for nerf to hi-sec missions and itGÇÖs not because low sec has lower income. OMG an actual argument from E-2c instead of useless trolling? WTF, why are my feet cold, how could snow be on the forecast for hell, must be gloabal warming or something? More seriously, people (not just goons) ARE exploiting the imbalance. Many null sec players have high sec incursion, mission, mining, scamming and exploration alts. Half of my 4 accounts characters are in high sec for logistics and PVE isk making purposes. High Sec isk is reliable and it's really hard for anyone to interrupt you (except for high sec exploration). The various reasons why have been explained to (and ignored by) the OP. Relying on a random number generator and time consuming PVE activities for isk is dumb when you can take the exact same 2 alts Infinity is using and rake in high sec isk. 1 alt runs infinitely available missions (and if you're pro , basking in the glory of sisters probes or nomad implants/soon to be SOE cruisers or other goodies you can get in high sec like the infinite respawing cosmos plexes that drop items the cosmos runners need) while X-ing up in incursion channels with the other alt. And then stop doing everything else when you get into that incursion fleet because thats where the isk is. Incursion is is never ever chance based like sov null isk is.
Sure its chance based. What happens when they shoot the mothership?.......Thaaaats riiiiggghht.....no more incursion. Hi-sec offers you the chance to do something on your alt while you pvp on your main.
Null isk making requires you to keep you eye glued on local. I choose not to have to deal with elietist or thier attitudes so i do not do incursions but i understand they can be very profitable when the mothership isint being killed.
I will stick to making big iskies doing 7/10 or ratting in null when I can and rely on hi-sec for a more steady income over time.
Anyone telling you there is more money to be made in hi-sec is doing it wrong. |

Is that at me? No, I don't think so. I honestly don't think there is much of anything "elitist" in the game. Just about all of it is accessible given enough effort and/or time.
But then, I would also argue that having skillpoint requirements isn't elitist either. Not posting on my main, and loving it.-á Because free speech.-á |

If you ahve a TTT in fleet, it's pretty much the same I guess. Null fleet follow broadcast, incursion fleet follow tags.
Scratch that, they don;t really follow tags. Do people in null really follow broadcast of do you usually have some idiots shooting the wrong stuff? |

The peak of nullsec fleet pvp is showing in the right ship with the right fitting; following broadcasts, align, warp, and jump orders; and warping the f out when primaried if you're really pro. Most alliances are at the stage of working on the right ship with the right fittings. Official Representative of The Nullsec Zealot Cabal |

Doesnt change the basic issue of not being able to do a plex that isnt there or that someone else got to first along with the randomness of the loot drops.
While I wont deny that if you get lucky you can make piles of isk very quickly in nullsec the reasons people go for missions in highsec are very simple - Safety and Consistancy.
Safety Provided you do nothing to make yourself a target, which requires nothing more than basic common sense, Highsec is by far the safest place to do any sort of repetetive activity such as mining or mission running. CONCORD protection, simple logistics and easy access to the busiest markets in the game makes for tasty icing on a very delicious cake.
Consistancy Level 4 missions are always available, always runnable and more importantly always pay the same once completed. You dont have to rely on a lucky loot table hit to make your money and calculating the time you need to invest to cover your costs is way easier. Pirates - The Invisible Fist of Darwin

basically you make yourself a target the moment you have logged into the game
next step into this area: undock. Viola! You already a target for someone.
Don't believe? - Look at these kills of empty or almost empty freighters (total loss in range <1.5billion which basically ship itself) - Look at these pod kills which were killed "just because i can"
Basically high-sec

not really: - the more people run missions the less worth LP, ISK and loot you get there. - speaking outside of NPC corps you always have possibility to get wardecced or get Incursion into your area
