(Ticket has been sent, just wondering if anyone else has encountered this or has suggestions/solutions)
The player corp I was in got wardecced in my "home" system, so I dropped this pilot to an NPC corp to freighter my stuff out and move house. All perfectly normal so far.
Under the current mechanics, you cannot rejoin a corp if you left while it was wardecced, until the war ends or until 7 days have passed (whichever is shorter). It has been over 7 days now, but when I apply to my player corp, accept on my alt, and try to rejoin I get the following message:
"The pilot has left this corporation while it was at war. He can not join again until a week after he left the corp or the wars have been concluded"
Re-clicking accept invitation it then says :
"Access denied"
You have been denied access for the following reason: You do not have the rights to put the application in the requested state.
Tried several times; from space, from station, accepted in space, accepted in station... all the same error. Created an alt on a separate trial account, and added that to the corp successfully. Made that trial alt a director, and tried to accept Taegan - still same failure and error.
Taegan quit the player corp at 14:15 on 8th October. It's now 22:45 on the 17th October, well over the supposed minimum time limit.

Update. Received a ticket response as follows:
This is an issue that should have been fixed in the Odyssey 1.1 patch. I must ask if you have already attempted to clear your ingame cache.
You can find the option to clear your cache in your game launcher, under the button shaped like a gear beside the language settings. Under the tab labelled "EVE Client Settings", it will be the top-most option. This will log you out from the game momentarily, but it will take only a minute to complete and none of your ingame settings or saved information will be affected by this.
If you have done this already or require further assistance, please let us know.
Clearing cache did indeed fix the issue - bit annoyed I forgot about that, and bit surprised on reflection that it wasn't suggested in the Help channel.

Eventually after over a week of talking to ccp where i told them every single step in reproducing the bug and that i had not problem joining blue they moved me into red.
No solution yet :/
FYI i tried following clearing caches, and deleting all of eves temp folders without any effect. Re-installed eve. No effect. Even tried another computer though i don't see how a client side error would deny a player to join a corp.
My suggestion to you is file a petition or join blue.. |

I'm looking into this today. This is also confusing the hell out of me, It is basically raising this error in an DB proc but given the data and running my own queries then it shouldn't fail at all.
One theory was that they application was correctly denied when trying to rejoin before the 7 day timer but after that the application is in a bad state so any time you try to accept the invite you'd get this "not allowed to change state" error. This is definitely true but doesn't sound like what is happening and I've seen instances where there is about a month between leaving and attempting to rejoin the corp.
I'll continue to look into this. If you can give me an exact text of the error message that would be great and time you tried to rejoin as well. https://gate.eveonline.com/Profile/CCP%20Tuxford/StatusUpdates |

Take a look at the newest support ticket attached to my account, everything should be there. |

I also have this issue and have a ticket open.
I have a second corp mate in the same situation now. A month ago a third member of our corp had this same issue.
This theory is interesting - as I did try before the 7 day timer, however I resubmitted an application after the 7 Day timer and got denied again stating: "The pilot has left this corporation while it was at war. He can not join again until a week after he left the corp or the wars have been concluded"
I'm awaiting GM Eskimo to manually move me into my former corporation. I simply left to get a few empty jump clones. Now I can't re-join my corp.
