Respectfully Praetorian, there is only one officer of PIE in the above list that I know of, and it is certainly not above him to help support causes in the interests of the Empire.
May God Bless and protect you in flight and in his sight.

I refrain from commenting on miss Vea's willingness to honor her bids, as I do not have had any business transactions with her. However, suspicions have been cast of the validity of her bid. So, on the off chance that the suspicions are true;
I will place a secondary bid of 115 million on Lunarisse Aspenstar, I would rather spare her of the trite and uncouth behaviour of an uncivilized brat, whom I suspect has no appreciation for finer Amarrian arts.

Black bishop takes white knight. I'm going to have to protest this on the grounds that it's simply bad form at any auction. While I certainly agree with your assessment of Alizabeth Vea, you missed the opportunity to place a bid of 115 million the moment anyone placed a bid higher than that.
Should the auctioneer deem that Ms. Vea is, in fact, a shill, then it's perfectly reasonable to invalidate her bids and resume the bidding at the current next-highest value. Until that happens, however, the present bid should be assumed valid, and no bid placed below the current bid after the fact has any weight whatsoever. Bid's lower than the current highest bid isn't valid. I do believe that Alizabeth Ves will stand by her word. http://amarrian.blogspot.com/ -á~ Roleplay blog.http://sovereigntywars.wordpress.com/ ~ Faction War blog. |

I'd also like to point out that you used the word "above," by mistake I'm sure, which gives your statement the implication that PIE officers would be below acting like wanton Gallente.
The fact that a young (by time in service) Lieutenant thinks he knows more about the standards of PIE officers than a Captain who's been serving faithfully since before you even submitted your application for capsuleerhood is laughable at best, but considering that your entire message is one mistake after another, I don't know if I can take it in any serious manner.
Also please don't try to bring up anything you may have done prior to becoming a capsuleer, as any work you could have done there pales too much in comparison to the power of a capsuleer that it is rather insignificant.
So my recommendation is that you put in a little more time, double check your future communications, and get back to minding your superior officers. |

Good intentions do not make a man right, sir. As Ms. Lianne has clarified the rules, you'll see that I was, in fact, right. You never had any "opening" to do such a thing, as it was a violation of the rules.

Yes, she did clarify the rules - after - I had made my previous declaration. So, from where I stand you overestimate your reading comprehension skills. Inability to differentiate a turn of phrase form an insult is just all the more proves that point. Next time you try to be clever, don't. It just isn't your strong suit mr Quaid.

As the rules have been clarified, I will of course abide by them and defer to miss Lianne's decree in this case. Allow me to show you the crystal clear rules:
"The first bid should start out at 25mil and new bids should be in increments of 5mil minimum . . ."
No reasonable person construes this to mean you are allowed to underbid the current bid.
You seem to think you're playing the white knight by saving the damsel from the evil Vea without actually confronting Vea. You basically decided you wanted to try to push some other innocent fellow out of the way in hopes that Vea would just voluntarily let the damsel fall into your arms. If you want to paint yourself as some kind of gallant, romantic hero, you should actually, you know, do something gallant. I recommend you start by outbidding Vea.
Standing around and hoping the bad guy gives up the hostages isn't the same thing as rescuing the hostages from the bad guy.
You, sir, are a shameless self-aggrandizer--a quality that I normally admire, make no mistake--yet you do nothing worthy of aggrandizement. Want to be the hero? Be heroic. CEO, Discreet Bounties In-game Channel: Discreet Bounties |

This is incorrect. As Shalee has clarified, Vince's bid was not valid, as it was placed after a higher bid had already been made.

Yes that was a mistake in my writing. I was obviously upset and I believe that my point came across.
Time in service does not stop one from making mistakes and misjudgments.
This is a disgrace. Selling ones self even for a good cause is immoral.
That may be fine for you and your corp but PIE should set the example for the rest of you.
So my recommendation for you is to go read scripture and rethink your decision. |

I cannot speak for the esteemed Captain Saint, Cardinal Graelyn or Sir Shutaq, but indeed, I have meditated on the scriptures before agreeing to participate in this bit of fun to support the Amarr Militia and its efforts. As Mr. Shutaq, Sister Shalee and myself have made clear, we aren't selling ourselves but simply our time - which I intend to use trying to bring the successful bidder to the Light besides having a pleasant and entertaining meal and conversation in an idyllic setting. One must do one's duty, however that duty may come to us.
This verse struck me as important and guided my decision.
"All things were created by the Divine, and so the glory of our faith is inherent to us all; When thine heart shines with the Light, thou shalt know no hardship; When thine actions are in Light's name, thou art immortal.GÇÖ" - The Scriptures, Book of Trials 2:1 |

True Amarr, but as the 7th Son of a Holder, I am well down the list of suitors. Still I am blessed that my Lady sees something in me.
Far be it from me to undervalue my devotion to her or to imply as such - even if she tends to act without thinking things through, notwithstanding her protestations about "mediation". But then, I shall have a talk with her.
