ATM I run a Dual 425mm AC II Boat with an MWD and a dual LAR Tank. My lows are like this: 2x LAR II Explo Hardener II Kin Hardener II Therm Hardener II DCU II
I'm currently training my armor comp skills to lvl 4, and explo comp to 5, and i was wondering if EANMs give you better resistances, or do they just make you Nos proof?

id guess thats pvp, ive had a pretty similar setup for my ac solo/small gang pest, but the 425 are not that well damage dealer, use the 650 u dont have to sacrifie too much and deal more damage, when u r in gangs skip the dc for a gyrostab which gives u a good damage boost.

I do LvL 4 missions in my Fleet Tempest and I have to say that I disagree with alot of the people's setups in here. But thats my opinion. So here is what I use.
High Slots =
6x 1400mm Tech2 or better Howitzers. 1x Tractor Beam. 1x Salvager.
Medium Slots =
1x Large Shield Booster Tech 2 or better. 1x Afterburner Tech 2 or better. 1x Invul Field Tech 2 or better. 1x Sensor Booster Tech 2 or better 1x Passive Shield Hardener Tech 2 or better.* 1x Passive Shield Hardener Tech 2 or better.*
(*) Means to fit mission Specific Hardeners
Low Slots
3x Domination Gyro's or better. 2x Domination Tracking Enhancers or better. 1x Damage Control Module Best Named or Tech 2.
Rigs Slots
Rig Slot 1 - 15% Cap Recharge rate. Rig Slot 2 - Power Grid Bonus. Rig Slot 3 - Shield Hit Point Increase.
Drones
2x Tech 2 Large Drones 2x Tech 2 Medium Drones 1x Tech 2 Small Drones.
I solo LvL 4's all day everyday and own without fear from the npc's. I have even soloed Worlds Collide with it.
I am at work and i dont know the exact names of the Rigs but I will edit this in the morning when I get home.
Plus I have 3% Hardwirings in my mellon. But my Dmg Modifier is at 20% hehe complete 1400mm anilation

that was from before rigs(and ecm nerf) were out - probably 2x aux nano and a nanobot accelerator for armour tanking. would swap the multispec for a sensor booster also.

Edited by: Asari Sendai on 27/10/2007 07:04:59 I see a lot of folks Armor tanking the Tempest. I was playing around with EFT and came up with what appears to be a fairly decent passive shield tanker. This setup can take a good bit of damage and deal it out too.

You're not going to find t2 rigs anywhere, go for 3x t1 (if they fit) take out the nano plating and signal amp for a Damage Control II and a 3rd gyro if you have the CPU. __________________________________

Good call on the Damage Control II and Gyro Stab. I was able to fit 3 Core Defense Field Extenders I in the rig slots. With all this the new shield values are: Shield Effective HP: 63412 Shield HP (regen) : 16754 (2000.0sec) Max Shield Regen : 20.01 per sec (approx.) Shield EM : 62.3 % Shield Explo : 84.9 % Shield Kinetic : 77.4 % Shield Thermal : 69.8 % Armor HP : 7453 Armor EM : 74.5 % Armor Explo : 23.5 % Armor Kinetic : 36.3 % Armor Thermal : 44.8 % Effective HP (with uniform damage distribution): 97,655 Signature Radius: 485.82 mm
The only real down side I see is the f-ing ginormous Signature Radius this beast presents. But with a top speed of 1079 for a 1 minute burn you should be able to move to a better tactical position if needed.
