They've said that the Ghost sites will give off the materials required for the new pirate implants and that all spaces will give different materials. They implied that all the materials types from each space would be required to build the implants. So the rewards are literally exactly the same.
The difference is, that getting these rewards in highsec will be easy. As such those materials will be abundant, and therefore cheaper. It's very smart to give rewards like this. It shows why the rewards are less in highsec. Because those rewards are in high supply. Worth is ultimately determined by the players. "In the age of information, ignorance is a choice." |

Risk versus reward. You want to get better stuff, move to more dangerous areas.

The UI mockup you linked was actually just a concept, not something that's anywhere near complete or finished. If you watched the whole video you'd see they even had a concept for some INSANE looking manufacturing GUI that was circular like the fitting window but jam packed with bars and dials and numbers ere'where lol. |

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Truthfully, essential materials should be unique to certain area's of space.
Certain ones only found in High Sec, same in Low sec (especially) and also in Null and WH space.
Give people reasons to inhabit Low Sec, and trade back and forth (or steal, or fight for) between the others. It looks even more confusing than what we have now. How about making some of the things people have been asking for rather than "polishing" the UI over and over again?
(confusing for new players...I don't think it would have any effect on vets and is a non-feature for them) |

Yes, it's on their twitch feed under recent streams. As a side, I know that it is just a concept. Saying it is a mock-up (ie, mock-up concept) shouldn't imply that we're going to get it in game. I will correct the OP for clarity.

I've been saying this for years. Unique resources in each space would be an incredible balancing force. The less people go to that area of space the more valuable those resources would become. It would naturally redistribute player numbers. Talking about ISK generation between different spaces is almost literally pointless. Frankly they should nerf all bounty income by 10-20% to reduce inflation. Generating ISK from nothing needs to be less viable than commerce.
Poor NPC nullsec has literally nothing that you can't find in another area of space. "In the age of information, ignorance is a choice." |

The UI mockup shows some interesting design ideas and I think it looks good overall.
Unfortunately there are also some serious issues and I hope that whoever makes the decisions will value function over design.
- The giant useless trapezoid design element needs to go imho; especially considering that many people have only the active mods visible.
- The target details window in the upper right corner is too big; that would make it difficult to reposition it if you want/need a larger overview main window.
- I doubt that the width of the columns in the main overview window is realistic. Especially the "distance" column needs to be wider with regard to close range combat. I believe many people also want/need at least one more column to show the alliance or corp.
- The chat windows have no background - this looks good and will work against a black background. But it won't work against the typical background in many if not most empire systems. Also the chat windows seem to be very small - at least personally I would need a much wider chat window (and a larger font) to be able to read there.

*facepalm* Columns have variable width. Various types of columns can be added or removed. There is an option to remove passive modules from display.
These things are there already and won't change. Why would they?
And why do you critizise things without thinking about it for at least a second? Why is it that all you can do is react, like a stupid robot? |
