I was doing Pilgrim - Heretic 2 of 5, warped into 4th room and there were 4+ battle ships, 10 + cruiser/bc and 15 or so frigs. Started up my trans veloc and all was well for about 20 seconds, then I was pointed and webbed and had about 5 seconds to live in my omen. Now from what I read I can no longer repeat this ridiculous mission since my key is gone. This would of course mean I'm locked out of the chain. I'm a little confused in how the chains/chapters work. Where can I start up the next section of the cosmos chain? So far everything seems to have lead to the next agent through a referral or item from the previous agent, so I have no idea where to start on the next mission down the list. Any advice on this mission, how to repeat it or where to go from here would be awesome. Also if there is a way to repeat the mission, any advice on how to survive the insane damage the mission puts out would be helpful. I know the guide says to go right so battleships don't spawn but the ships were already out when I warped in. |

Make a petition under 'mission in progress' inform the GM that the key was destroyed with your ship and see if the GM Gods are feeling generous, they might reset the mission so you try it again.
Alternatively look in contracts to see if there are any extra keys lying around, I think I ended up with a few extra when I finished all the Amarr missions.
Things that keep me up at night;-á Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state,-áOnce you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another. |

As for this, the ships will be spawned but they shouldn't attack unless you shot them first. And I did this one in a L-ASB Muninn pretty easily (Had a few charges left over, out of 7, when I completed it). Alternatively you could bring a friend or two with you so you can focus on the mission objective and they can focus on the DPS problem.

Yeah... I just re-read the description, seems i did indeed shoot the wrong ship. I coulda sworn it said the battleships will warp in. I'll start the petition and hope for the best. The mission only has about 14 hours left on it though. I'm also having trouble locating the name of they key, anyone know what it is by chance? |

Aw, Bastion Master Key, 15-20m.. Not bad I suppose. I'd rather not have to repeat this mission if possible though. How do I know where I can start the next chain. If it isn't too far ahead of where I currently am I'd rather go that route. |

I think the only missions you wont be able to do as a result of not finishing that mission are parts 3,4 and 5 from that agent. The next agent to do according to the EVElopedia guide is Thumal Ebotiz - assuming you still have the blood reel you got as a reward for the clean hand missions.
You get a second chance to get a key during the missions from Sheroz Amokin, who wants you to blow up the generator the battleships guard.
You can take BC and T3 ships into the last stage (or could when i ran it) so that would help deal with the BS. Besides that you could go in with other players.
The cosmos missions don't reset so if you don't finish that mission before the time runs out you wont get a chance to run it again on that character (unless a dev resets it) but in this case it should only stop you doing the missions from that one agent. |

I sent in a petition for a week extention, if i get it I will retry, if not then I think I will just continue on. Only cruisers and t3's are allowed in. I do not have access to t3's yet though. Hopefully the faction standing hit won't be too large that i can't get it to 6 by the time I need it at 6.
Thanks for all the info guys! Very helpful.

Just realised i had a spare of the item you need that I'm never going to use, I've put it in a contract for you. |

I really appreciate that man. Unfortunately i took a break from computer and I believe the contract has gone to someone else. It's the thought that counts though! Thanks anyways. |

are the rewards from cosmos missions worth dealing with stuff like this? purchasable keys, 1-time only missions, etc? Fighting is Magic |

They are pretty good so far. I'm not too far in, I'm hoping they get better. You get a TON of faction standing though. |

Is this the guide you're talking about?
https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Amarr_Cosmos_%28Guide%29
I followed it when I did that Cosmos chain and it worked great, just make sure you read each mission description carefully before actually running the mission.
I used various ships for the Level 3 and lower Agents, mainly was Heavy Assault Cruiser (Vagabond) and Battlecruiser (Hurricane). I also used a Force Recon Cruiser (Rapier) and Blockade Runner (Prowler) for a few of those missions.
For the Level 4 Agents I used a T3 Cruiser (Loki).
As was already stated, you should be able to continue on with the next agent in the chain if you have the Blood Reel. Later on you'll receive another 'Bastion Master Key' from a Level 4 Agent - Sheroz Amokin - who will send you back into that very same room you just experienced.
You can always stop after completing an agents mission series and wait till you're more skilled with better equipment to continue with the others.
