Anyone know, for each kind of installation (maufacturing, copying, etc), how many slots are available for each station type? It is especially confusing being in a FW zone...? |

assuming the station has them in the first place, 50. One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

I think its 50 for manufacturing, but I don't think it's 50 for researching/invention. I want to say it's just 20 for invention/ME/PE reserach/copying...? Can anyone confirm? |

come to think of it, you're probably right on the research slots ... have used POS for so long that I don't even bother checking One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia |

Tau! You are awesome, thank you! Did you just figure that out by exploring, or was there a record somewhere? |

http://eve.grismar.net/explorer/index.php [Very outdated database.] http://eve-online.itemdrop.net/eve_db/universe/station_search/ [Recent database, but I don't know how recent.]
Since I was looking for services, I don't expect those have changed over the years.
I only considered stations owned by the four player factions.
One of these days I need to install SQL and use CCP's datadump. |

Berluth, this stuff comes from the static data dump.
Current location: http://community.eveonline.com/community/fansites/toolkit/
Some sites and blog posts that talk about it: http://wiki.eve-id.net/CCP_Static_Data_Export http://k162space.com/2012/04/13/working-with-eve-static-data/
So for example, the list of "academy, assembly plant, etc" comes from the table staOperations
And one query that gets you reasonably close to "what lines are available in what stations" is Quote:SELECT distinct [operationID] ,[operationName] ,[caldariStationTypeID] , RALT.assemblyLineTypeName, RALS.quantity FROM staOperations AS SO INNER JOIN ramAssemblyLineStations AS RALS ON SO.caldariStationTypeID = RALS.stationTypeID INNER JOIN ramAssemblyLineTypes AS RALT ON RALS.assemblyLineTypeID = RALT.assemblyLineTypeID where SO.description is not null order by [caldariStationTypeID] asc, operationID asc This query is not very good because some lowsec stations are in faction warfare, so they have more manufacturing lines depending on what faction controls the system, and the most problematic caldariStationTypeID is 1529 because that is the station type that represents player built outposts and those can be upgraded, so those numbers are all over the place depending on what parts of what outpost have (or have not) been upgraded.
Other than Tau, one of the other really smart guys who can help is Steve Ronuken, who runs the fuzzworks website. |

Cool. Good info here too. My main concern actually IS the FW stations for now, but knowing their baseline is what I'm after and then comparing that to what they SAID they were changing for winter 2012 to how you could upgrade stations via IHUB upgrades. Theoretically, the systems with labs should be the ones with the biggest inclination to upgrade leading to some people outside of the space to develop relationships with those on the inside. |
