I've run a few L5s in my day, thought I would share my latest fits.
Basic idea is 3x RR Domi + 1 Auguror
Warp the domi's in a few seconds ahead of the Auguror. Domis provide 1x Large Energy transfer to the Auguror. Auguror provides 1x Large Energy transfer back to each Domi.
That provides the domi's with enough energy to overcome nuets and run 4x Large Remote Armor Reps The domi that is getting nueted turns off it's Large Energy Transfer, (it only takes 2 to keep the Auguror filled up) The Domi's set up a default remote rep chain and add switch reps if necessary (only required in a couple missions) I fly with an omni tank so that I don't have to wast time changing up fitting. You really need all 8 remote reps on one mission.
MWD and Cloak to get you out of gate camps that you might run into (very rare, but worth it for the pirate tears). I also keep 4x WCS, 3x Nanofiber in the hold for when I transition between agents or smell a gate camp coming.
ECCM to make scanning you down harder. This is a lot more important that you might think. If you are facing mid-level scanner you can complete mission before they get lock and get fleet to you. If facing Pro scanner, you can get out before they get lock. Scanners get bored pretty quick if they can't catch you. Once they figure out they aren't going to catch you (and if they do it's just T1 ships) they will not bother for the most part. Doesn't mean you don't have to stay on your toes, but they won't keep you from completing missions.
The Domi's all assign drones to the Auguror so you only have to target with one screen.
You get ~2250 DPS from 15x Garde IIs (switch to wardens for the missions where the target is more than 55K), plus the Auguror carries light drones to take out scram frigs that make it inside your garde
Average time on grid, ~3 minutes per mission.
I've been clearing an average of 8 missions per hour. More than half the time is spent warping/talking to the agent. Obviously decline the missions you can't blitz

2 domis + t2 logi can run L5's easily. The problem you will run into however; are the locals. |

If he runs them with 3x domis and a T1 logi, why are you suggesting to run it with 2? More expensive, and less damge.

If you have a 2 domi / 1 logi fleet that can run L5s with the following criteria I would love to see the fits.
1) Need MWD + Cloak to sneak past gate camps 2) Need 3x ECCM on the Domi, 1x ECCM on the Logi to get your scan size below 4.5 3) Need to be able to tank ~1800 DPS against all factions without switching hardeners 4) First ship in will be neuted for up to 180 GW 5) The cheaper the better - Ships will be lost
The reason I like my setup is because you can easily complete 8 missions per hour. If you need to dock to change hardeners or scout the gates you're going to drop down to about 5 missions per hour (trust me I have tried both).
That being said I am always looking for ways to improve the fits

I actually came to this section of the forums to look for some lvl 4 mission information to boost faction standing on an alt but this has me intrigued.
Maybe I'll try this out on lvl 4s first to see if I can pay attention long enough to not die ;)

Garde IIs have a Sig Radius of 100 meters and a sensor strength of 22.5, putting their signal strength of 4.44. This makes them slightly easier to scan down than a domi with 3 ECCMs.

Check my previous posts . . . In summary 1) Fly Cheap (Pirates will ignore you for the most part) 2) Blitz (Only run the missions that can be completed in less than 5 minutes - Pirates will really ignore you) 3) Profit?

2 ravens with mjd and cruise missiles are far more efficient than this setup, no need for tank and acutally more dps #xXxGorski4CSMxXx +¦+ä+à+è # 420 +¦+«+¦ +è+»+º+ü+¦ +¦+å +¦+¦+ü-á ! #FreeJhonnyBussines +¦+«+¦ +è+»+º+ü+¦ +¦+å +¦+¦+ü !

What are you suggesting for 2 Raven fitting exactly and fleet set up? |

Solo arty vargur with MJD apparently also works with Rubicon. I have not tested this myself though. German blog about smallscale lowsec pvp: http://friendsofharassment.wordpress.com |
