I am a member of a highsec wardeccing corp that some of you may know and others may not, I have noticed a huge flaw in the war declaring system.
Dissolving Corporations
When declaring war on someone and paying the fee for declaring war on them, they can instantly dissolve their corp and reform it with the same name, same logo, everything, except they won't be at war with you anymore. I personally feel this is an exploit of game mechanics. Why should they be able to dodge the wardec like that and I still have to pay my 50 million isk? I understand if you don't want to fight I suppose but then I should get my 50 million back.
An idea to solve this would be, make members have to stay in the corp for 48 hours while under a war declaration (24 hours of fighting time) or if they surrender before the wardec goes live, refund the 50m to the attacking corporation. Any other suggestions on this would be awesome, it doesn't work the way it is now and seems like a small easily fixed problem. |

Well it appears you presented an "Idea" to fix your perceived problem, so this isn't really the right place to post.
Also, what the Princess said. It's a WAI mechanic the helps protect noobs from greifers. Find people who want to fight or go to low/null. |

I agree that this dissolving corps mechanic is weaksauce. And I'm not even a wardeccer.
I know CCP states it's 'working as intended.' But to me that's just lame and I would also like to see it changed. |

A little thought here, maybe...
You've got a bunch of carebears who like whatever industrial things it is they do... you disband the corp and reform it. You inevitably lose half the corp because they dont rejoin after you do so.
Its not like its a pure win situation for anything but an alt corp OR a really tight-knit group... no matter how much griefers who have never tried to do it with an actual corp claim it to be :P |

As an entirely terribad gay failtard carebear I am offended by this characterization of carebears using this dynamic to evade griefer decs.
These, and similar, wardec dynamics are not just used by us carebears.
The wannabe griefers also use these tools when the carebears return their ill-advised aggro. Having just spent a month and a half griefing griefers I was very impressed at their cowardly corp hopping-and-dropping and other manoeuvres GǪ just to evade the wrath of a raging solo carebear.
ItGÇÖs just a game dynamic and it gets used by all who know about it and see enough benefit in using it. Live with it.
I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. Our pirate epic arc completion packages really are very good: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12973&find=unread |

Money isnt the issue for us, its the corp we wardec useing a lame mechanic to get out of a war, insted of surrendering or just parking in a station and waiting it out for a day. sounds like the ones loseing the most isk are the ones closeing and reforming the corp. wasnt it like 100mil isk to form a corp? was back in the day. |

They are transferred to the new corp or a holding corp before dissolving the old one.
Keeping POCO ownership is a non issue. If you want to get your soul to heaven, trust in me. Now don't judge or question. You are broken now, but faith can heal you. Just do everything I tell you to do. (Opiate - Tool) |

Yeah I heard this was coming in the update.
Still no big deal - Make a few one derp toon holding corp for pocos. (Use your 2 spare account slots) If someone war decs it and pops the poco, be there for when it come out of reinforcement with another neutral toon/Badger and drop a new office 1st. They can't shoot the neutral badger and will not have their own toon on field to drop one until after they poco is down. You just have to be ready the second the poco pops.
Then swap it to the corp you want it in when you next can. They then have to do it all again. Also set the time for it to come out of reinforcement for when the aggressor is known to be working or sleeping.
A lot of hell funny things will happen when people start bashing high sec offices.

I have to say, this solution can only be in favor of really new and small Corporations, from which i doubt youll get good fights out of anyway. Its will demand they have to empty their corp hangers and move wallets across, or am i mistaken? Nisroc Angels - The Obsidian Front Nisroc - Angel of Freedom Nisroc is known as "The Great Eagle".
