ya honestly i'd be happy at this point if wrecks dint just look like a bunch of criss crossed lines in a circle...
I mean come on give us a carcus or alteast something that looks like pieces of burnt hull ...
Atleast on battleships, carriers, and supers, the effects should be decent, and with recognizeable hulls or atleast size-recognizeable wreckage, something is better than the current nothing
BTW, GFX have 0 to do with LAG, LAG is INTERNET related...
Also if your pc sucks turn off the "wrecks" in the option as they will probably add for its effect |

I mean **** the client knows it missed it just said "large beam laser MISSES YOUR SHIP" so why the hell is it rendering that it did hit my ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Atleast fix the local my hull rendering of incoming damage! |

the gannt charts you guys have must be epic...

Revamping explosions is on our backlog, but will not be part of the Winter Expansion. It's quite a task, since we want them to look awesome yet not kill performance. Explosions and missiles are the main things remaining from the pre-Trinity days. Yes it's taken a lot of time to get there, but with our new found focus, we will get there faster than previously planned. |

I too want to see more detail in eve. I think its dumbed down because of blob fests in 0.0 tbh. Why should the ppl who love space themes suffer because a bunch of lemmings in 0.0 want to walk a cliff and diaf?? Better explosions, escape pods, my pod being visually ejected from somewhere on the ship, wreck remains look like the ship I was just in but now twisted and charred, would all go great with what you guys are already trying to implement in the game. jus sayin
Oh, change declok/cloak, nos/nuet animations please. Sometimes I would rather run my eyeballs up and down a cheese grater than watch these things. I'm sure the art dept. did the best they could with what they had at the time but now that more resources are being channeled into art, animations and FIS I'm confident you guys can do better now. kkthnxbye Oderint Dum Metuant |

Lasers and blaster causing heated parts of the hull to boil off into space size dependent on the power of the incoming beam or bolt with reflections, refractions and shadows of the now expanding cloud of cooling fluid and plasma. Rails blasting straight through the hull and animations of bulkheads slamming closed as debris fly's out under the force of the internal atmosphere venting to space (velocity calculated on the internal spaces dimensions and gas pressure of course). Missiles and projectiles bending and twisting sections of hull from the direction of impact and the exit wound flinging debris and fire out of all the new orifices the ships just acquired.
