Noticing the ganker's kills, and they are almost exclusively frigates, all at the Jita undock, and very few losses in those frigs of under 500,000,000 ISK per gank. Tons of them. That's way better than 'pure luck' if you ask me. Have you reported it? On 2nd thought: Regardless of whether or not the ganker or the gankee in this case are indeed involved with RMT, the players I know who have been noticing his activity for a few weeks sure had a feeling something was going on. It was not really that hard to find his killboard record. The better question to be asking (above), is why does CCP's security software protocols not generate a daily report or something of anomalous activities like particularly high payouts for a single player in one day, and frequently, in only certain specific ships, yadda yadda yadda. It's just a matter of another API pull really. that's all. They should be capable of noticing this stuff long before we do, which in most cases is sadly only a matter of intuition and conjecture. CCP is the one with the proof already.
The logs show nothing......

Why not find a quieter place?
That would even more suspicious.
Apparently they are mking these things look like real ganks. |

Not. Really. (wtf?)
ed: actually, this is sounding more like "certain parties" do not want CCP to be investigating this stuff............. |

if they were being careful and used VPNs and unlinked accounts then CCP wouldn't know any better.
of course looking at the effort they made to dress it up as a hero gank i would say not. |

That may very well be but if you as a company make the only thing buyable with real money for the in game economy and you're against RMT otherwise, the first thing to do is statiscally track it's movements to find illegal RMTs is it not? |

Exactly. And is Malcanis not suggesting this whole thing is ultimately the player-base responsibility to investigate ?
That's like the police asking me to do their dirty work for them by trying to gather evidence of possible drug dealing in the house next door. Smacks of the Stasi on top of it all.
