Can someone tell me why the edges of empire space to 0.0 are low sec but some of the actual entry points from empire themselves are like .5 or .6? I mean, helloooooo??? Can we just beg for a gate camp in 0.0 here so they can jump into empire and be safe in a high sec system? Who thought that would be a good idea?

Edited by: Sovy Kurosei on 14/02/2006 02:40:16 Edited by: Sovy Kurosei on 14/02/2006 02:38:41 From my experience at the Dital - KBP7-G entry point into 0.0, the pirates position frigates at the 0.0 gate and when a juicy target like my poor Arbitrator with its Cloaking Device fitted in a high slot comes through, the frigate locks me down and calls in the battleships within the system. If a large force pops up at the gate the frigates run away and the battleships can sit, relatively safe and sound in their safespots.
Personally I wouldn't have the number of entry points into 0.0 doubled, tripled or even quadrupled.
EDIT:
Don't know what exactly is exploitive of this. If the pirates are causing enough problems you should wardec them so they can't hide nice and safe in empire.

This is a whine thread already....look 0.0 is ment to be dangerous. you need to learn how to get around gatecamps. I've been living in 0.0 for over a year and I don't have problems getting around gatecamps...yes sometimes I get ganked but that's the risk I take for being in 0.0. The GMs and DEVS will not do anything about this because that's what they want is lawlessness in 0.0 so other players can roll in after they are sick of it and created their own laws (alliance claimed space...wow huh).

Surely the devs wanted more people to go into 0.0, hence the extra routes they put in.
I'd agree that they didn't put enough in, it's not like any of that space has become more accessable to do anything more than visit. Unless you're a member of the 'owning' alliance of course.
Look at me, I'm an alliance, I own more territory than the whole of empire, 10 of us keep it that way by guarding the gates. ----------------------------------- A gun and a packet of sandwiches.

How about you actually discuss the issue he raised instead of picking a completely different one that he's not interested in, to bash him over. ________________________________________________

I think his problem is more the fact that pirates can sit in 0.0 ona gate to high sec empire....if anything that looks threatening arrives they simply jump into high sec empire where they are untouchable unless you want to die yourself.
First time i went to the Dital/KBP area i have to admit it did seem a bit daft to be next to a high sec empire system. ------------------------------------------------- Defend Amarr space, join the Auctoritan Syndicate today |

He's not whining. He's annoyed that pirates sit on a 0.0 gate and kill people then jump back to high-sec whenever there's danger. If there was a patch of low-sec instead of high-sec it would be possible for anti-pirates to follow them and kill them.

If you think 0.6 is bad there is 0.8 in gaalant space which jumps st8 in to 0.0, I mean if that is not nuts then i dont know what is.

Edited by: Dahin on 14/02/2006 12:10:59 aye, it is TOO damn easy. All you need a scout in orvolle and you can massacre everything in pf without even the slightest of dangers. Isn't that silly?
And best part is that when a sizeable force shows up, you jump out in their face, dock and come back in exactly the setups/ships that can counter them. And then the dancing starts...

Seems perfectly sound to me that are diversity in the way high-sec transists into low-sec. If you dont like the short but risky route, take the longer but safer one.

The answer to your question is 42. And no, I'm not kidding.
