Yarr! I've read through 3-4 pages on the uniwiki about boosting and warfare modules but still had some questions I'd like to clear up. I'll do my best to make them clear:
1. In a single squad can multiple characters be designated as boosters? 2. Do boosters and warfare modules stack with each other?
Imagine a 10 man fleet. What is the least amount of training that could be invested such that all 10 members of the fleet could get the bonuses? One character that has all of the boosting skills and enough of the leadership skills? |

1) Each squad can have 1 person assigned as booster. GÇó Each can get 3 boosts. One from each of: Fleet Commander, Wing Commander, Squad booster
2) I'm not sure about stacking, never actuall looked at it closely. I'm sure someone else here will get you the answer.
As for your example, the squad commander must have leadership 5. If the booster character is NOT the squad commander, they must be assigned the squad's booster. The squad commander, squad booster and anyone wanting to receive the effects of the boosters must be in the same solar system. Fly Safe-á o7 |

The least amount of training is that one character has leadership enough to lead the squad, and that one (same or other) has all the the boosting skills.
The boosts never stack, but you get the best of each boost from valid boosters in your squad, wing and fleet.

Importantly, you only get the boosts, if the people in each of the leadership slots (squad, wing, fleet) have the skills to control the numbers you have.
9 people in your squad, and you only have leadership 4? no boost. Steve Ronuken for CSM 9! http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/ Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |

Ahhh so in a 10 person fleet the optimal situation would be a FC who has Leadership V and one booster with all of his boosting skills at V. In that situation all 10 people get full boosts.
A non optimal situation that achieves the exact same thing would be : Three characters with the appropriate leadership skills to pass on boosts in the FC, WC, and SL positions. Correct?
Anyone that can answer whether the boosts you get from Warfare modules (ie, command ship, t3 strat cruiser etc) stack with the boosts from the Leadership and boosting skills? |

The bonuses from various leadership skills and warfare links are all different and thus stack. However, if you are affected by more than one of the same bonus, only the highest one applies.
Example: Your squad commander is running a Shield Harmonizing I warfare link, and has the Skirmish Warfare skill at 5. Your wing commander is running a Shield Harmonizing II link, but doesn't have any skirmish warfare skills. You will be affected by the agility bonus from your squad commander, and the tech II link from your wing commander. The tech I link from your squad commander has no effect, as the bonus given by the WC is greater. |

If two people are giving the same bonus, only the bonus of the person with the highest value is applied. The other one is ignored, for that specific bonus. |

Smallest fleet with 3 boosters = 4 people: * One Fleet Commander (FC). * One Wing Commander (WC). * One Squad Commander (SC). * One Squad Member There is a limit of 3 boosters per fleet, 2 if there is no FC, and one if there is also no WC. The smallest valid fleet is 2 people: SC + squad member.
Boosters DO NOT have to be in a leadership position, however they are by default set as boosters. [Right-click member in fleet window to revoke / assign boosters.]
For boosts to flow down the chain of command, the leadership positions must be filled with someone with the skillls to command the people below them.
When more than one booster's bonus is available, the highest is applied.
There is no limit on the number of bonuses a booster can supply, but 5 leadership bonuses + 5 link bonuses is a practical limit for most boosting ships, constrained by available CPU for fitting links. |
