You are joking, right? If there are carebears and noobs in BoB, it's BNC...
HAHA ! - They may be carebear but they aint noob Shimp
Yeah, quoted for truth. I just meant to say that they are the carebearish "noobs" of the BoB Alliance... If you killed a BoB pilot and had the feeling it was way too easy - chances are 80% it was BNC. Can't judge the blob and large scale warfare capabilities though. I'm pretty sure they have their qualities... somewhere... hidden
P.S.: After one and a half year fighting BoB and flunkies I can say that their worst noobs are still good compared to most other corps and alliances ^^
Interesting perspective.
According to our killboard from BNC or our industrial Wing BNC.E you have killed a Shuttle, a Merlin, a Vigil and a Ferox and a Zealot in approximately 10 months. What a remarkable sample of our pilots you are basing this judgement on. Two out of the three being amongst our industrialists.
Of our three combat pilots you are basing this remarkable assumption on you used a Raven to kill a Ferox (yeah I can imagine you finding that easy), ganked a vigil in a Vagabond with the help of a Crow (wow, I can't believe our Vigil pilot did so badly and didn't manage to take out your HAC) and took out a Zealot in a Cerberus with the help of a Diemos and the NPC's (I can see me having to boot that Zealot pilot for losing 2:1 when already being hit on by NPCs).
In conclusion your attempt at singling out one of the three BoB corps for a little bit of a wind up is rather amusing.

Originally by: Mr rooflez We have been approaching 200 online in corp chat on a few occasions, i don't know if we've ever been over it though, 192 is the most i've seen.
We go from about 40 members online (right after downtime on a weekday) to aforementioned 200 on weekends.
That's about what i've seen. Our average nightly peak is around ~140ish usually. According to our current "post here or get purged" thread, we have a little over 500 active members, not counting alts.

Edited by: Blacklight on 17/02/2006 13:56:59 On topic regarding BNC's size we've about 230 combat accounts and 150-160 industrial accounts in BNC.E (give or take 10 or so for daily movement between corps, leavers and joiners etc).
So although people like to pigeon-hole corps as PvP or Industrialists or whatever things are a little more balanced than that. Total size of our combat focused corp though is about 380-400, although it's easier to see what percentage of our accounts support the fighters with logistics and industry than it is with most other 'PvP' corps because we use a two corp model.
I think in reality ATUK, Evolution, RKK and BNC are all 'similar' in size and depending on the moment you check anyone of the 4 may be largest.
Edit: To clarify dbp's comment we had 86 in corp chat lastnight at peak time.

alot of PVP corps expand and shrink alot depending on what they are doing at the time..
-during busy times ppl just dont have time to interview applicants yet.. -ppl move on when during "off periods" -industrial alts join and leave depending on ops..
etc etc..

Mind you we have a corp which is similar to goonfleet, Ars Celestis recruits from the Ars Technica gaming clan which if I remember rightly is around 10k of players, they are growing at an alarming rate!!!
I'm not sure if our diplomacy guys have gotten in touch with your Ars Caelestis guys, but be sure to have them contact some of our directors (Hoegaarden, Doctor Draw, Remedial) if they haven't. We may be able to share some insights re: recruitment, successful corp programs that have worked for us, etc.
Thanks for the contacts, either me or another Director will try to have a chat with (one of) them when we've got some spare time. Although maybe it's best to discuss standings before we start sharing good info.
We'll hopefully be in touch.
Be all you can be, join the Huzzah Armed Forces today!

heh, from what research i've done so far it looks like we're far enough apart that we don't have any major allies or enemies in common & probably will never run into each other. Even if it turns out we have to be hostile for political reasons, though, no reason we can't be friendly about it =)

I'd say bigger corps will appear more if the new servers take effect that we want, there is a practical limit to the size that pvp groups can effectively operate at..
Example 1: Up north i've had lag (read: emergency warping) trying to jump a single ship into an empty system, (no hugh fleets close or unusual amounts of players on the server) i was simply the lead scout for a 10 odd gang trying to chase, another gang (cant remember size)
Example 2: Last gang was 30 ppl and had to be jumped in groups into empty systems to avoid lag warps..

"in 6 months time their clones will cost too much to do what they do now."
But in 6 months they can be in position (skill-wise) where their members can operate very differently from now, also. ^^
(this is of course presuming current members actually stick around until then, instead of getting replaced by fresh wave of new players from another recruitment drive)

iirc u get a t2 gun and place the ammo in that, and aim it into the barrle of the t1 gun, and shoot it. then the t2 ammo is in the t1 gun and when the t1 gun shoots a t1 round it does both t1 ammo dmg and t2.
but i think it could be an exploit so dont test it out

Yeah, whatever. Regarding the killboard: You want to repair it anyway. Check entries with ID 50847 and 50848. "stats 4tw tbh"?
P.S.: I didn't mean to start a flamewar. As I said (indirectly) BNC is good. Calm down and forgive me
