How do I get my items button back on the station sidebar? The way its set up now is not good. I have to open inventory which is realy the ships button then open my hanger but if i want to move stuff from my ship to the hanger you have to open it in another tab then remove the now unnecessary "ships inventory" window.... add another window if you want to do ship fitting.... and another to add/remove drones... and heavens forbid you should want to see info on something. That may require upgrading your video card.
In the old layout if i wanted to see ships i hit the button marked ships If i wanted items I hit items. I have googled for an answer to putting the buttons back the way there were but found nothing. Can someone help? |

It should be in one of the NEOCOM menus located at the top of your sidebar. Just find it and drag/drop it into its "proper place."
Alternatively, hold the shift key and double click the items/ships/etc option in the inventory. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

I just double checked. The "button" I'm referring to is right above your character portrait on the top left (It's 3 horizontal bars).
It should open up into a menu tree with a number of options (similar to the START button in Windows). Navigate inside of it and when you find what you are looking for drag it into the sidebar (btw... all icons on the sidebar can now be rearranged). Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |
