I would have to have at least 10 students to make the journey worthwhile.

Students will be on Ventrillo with the instructor in a special room. It is all really well organized so dont worry about it. You will get connection information and so on when you pay for the course. I have done similar workshops for AGES but only for the corps I have been in so I am quite experienced at the logistics involved.

Ahh well that would be up to the students. I dont get involved in politics of any kind at all. Im simply a professional instructor. Any contests of such are out of my realm. However, I would advise my students to get a bit of real live fire experience before attacking Goonfleet in force. I would also say that Goonfleet should probably have better things to do then blow up a bunch of PvP newbies.

Know-how is the most important thing in this game and worth ISK...i donŠt know why people give know-how for free while they barther for every ISK when they sell items. Even alliances give know-how to their n00bs for free while tons of these n00bs will leave later - and take the learned know-how with them.

As opposed to the permanent lies of the content industry knowledge and information at least DOUBLES it's worth when shared freely.
You get better corpmates if you tell them what is good and what is not.

You can train them yourself of course. But then you need to have the coursework, materials, infrastructure, time and all of that to do so. We already have that. You also need to schedule a time to train them. In the best of corps this can be problematic due to various schedules. Do you really want to run a class with one student?
On the other hand you could send them to us and we will send them back better trained. They will be in a class with other students in their time frame, might even make a few friends in the process and will be using time proven materials and curriculum. They will be among hundreds of students so they are sure to find a class that suits them and isnt just for one person.
Your choice really. Im not going to do it for free though. I am in business, not charity. I strive to give my client's their money's worth. -- Rells

I'd be interested to know how you can quantify this statement. Information wants to be free, sure, but it also wants to be expensive at the same time. And you can't just wish that dichotomy away.

Greetings.
I am happy to report that the Agony Unleashed PvP University web site is now active and taking enrollments for PvP Basic seminars. Other classes will follow in short order depending upon interest. There is still a corp discout oc 10% for every 10 students registered from a single corporation up to 25% off. The first two PvP basic courses will be 2 million isk per pilot; after that the price will go up to 5 million isk per pilot. I assure you that the course will be worth every penny and you will be reccommending it to your corpmates and friends.
Learn how to fight back now!

That made me laugh. Not because I agree/disagree. It was just funny.
Oh, BTW, I know you're trying to be helpful(While making ISK) to new people, but if someone is going to PVP, odds are, they'll do it in a corp/alliance that they'll stay with. And strategies vary ALOT between different corps/alliances. Some like large fleets of BSes. Some like hit and run inties/frigs. There's different styles of PVP, and of course, knowing what your corpmates will do, because you've PVPed with them 400 times helps, and there is no way to do that...Without, well, PVPing with them 400 times.
Of course, for newbies/carebears who just want a little experience, either for the newbie not wanting to look like an idiot when he joins a corp/alliance(You still will. Don't sweat the small stuff though. If it's a good corp, they'll take care of their own, and won't mind.), and for a carebear justing wanting to know how to generally fight back sometiems, this is a great idea. ---------------------------------------

There is another aspect as well. Namely such an alliance could require the course to make sure that the player can actually defend their space. Alliance commanders spend ungodly amounts of time babysitting people who dont know proper procedures and so on for moving in fleets, using voice coms and more. It would be to the alliance's benefit to send newer pilots here first.
Yes, I will make money off this. Hopefully we will get a strong reputation and a lot of students and make LOTS of money off of this. However this depends upon on us providing quality service and having satisfied customers communicating their enjoyment and value in the course to friends. So we are well motivated to provide high quality service.
As for his question, it is put in such an impertinent manner that I dont feel compelled to answer it. If the poster would care to rephrase it using manners then I would be happy to answer. -- Rells
