Woot, the new jumps look to cut the travel times between the freindly empires, its still hefty going straight from a hostile empire to another hostile empire looks like though.
PRoposal to fix blobbing and make Charisma useful.

Why is graviton physics being taken away as a skill requirement for the tractor beam?
Because it's too expensive? Demand for the skill has been steady since the tractor beam was introduced. In any case the market will decide what the right price is based on how useful a tractor beam is.
so, why?

Sadly I have since learned that if you arent on the first page of a post you usually wont get a reply from devs.
Still gonna ask tho. I noticed that there was no mention of freighter cans being put in game as was mentioned in the dev blog previously. Is this still going through or what?
Also the merc cystrals, I understand not being able to use them in modulated stip miner II but i also heard you cant use them in dcm II or dcms II? Is this correct and if so why was this done and will it be left as such?

when the bloodline patch comes next week , i noticed your fixing the nighthawk ship
====================================================================================================== Nighthawk's description now displays a bonus to Kinetic missile damage only. It incorrectly stated receipt of a bonus to all heavy missiles. Also, its capacitor capacity has been increased to 4750 and cargo capacity increased to 700m3.
Vulture and Nighthawk had incorrect shield, armor and hull values. All command ships have 20% more hit points than their tech 1 counterpart. The Vulture had this bonus twice whereas the Nighthawk had no bonus. ======================================================================================================
can you please also fix the presicion skill bonus from command skill , as its working the wrong way making this so called frigate killer , even harder to hit frigates
ie heavy missile explosion radius = 125 with precision missile skill at lvl 4 = 100 (20% reduction due to skills)
but on a nighthawk with lvl 3 command skill instead of it getting better by 15% its getting worse now i get a explosion radius of 115
i hope someone reads this and fixes it with next weeks patch

Ok I scrolled through this topic and did not find what I was looking for soooooo.
How big of a patch is it? For us 56k users, hours of downloading really sucks. (currently downloading last expansion from EQ) So I can speak truthfully I really dont want to down load a big arse patch right now.
You know lots of little patches instead of ONE REAL BIG ONE is good.
Oh for you die hare EQ haters out there EQ is great once more...no body there...I dont see why my son still likes it though...

Not only is the nighthawk cap way too large for a BC, even if it was a typo intended to be 2750, it still needs to be changed.
Since when does a missile boat/caldari tech receive more capacitor than Amarr ships? They're the kings of cap :s
Now someone tell me that it's not 4750 in-game. It was fine as it was with 2400. Launchers don't use cap

I checked into the Nighthawk changes and it turns out I made a mistake. The cap of the Nighthawk remains unchanged, but the other changes are correct. The cap of the Nightmare has been boosted to 4750.
I apologize for the goof. When I was compiling the patch notes, I read Night- and lumped the -Mare in with the -Hawk by accident.
The patch notes have been updated accordingly.

With regards to the Nighthawk, is the powergrid on the Tech2 Nighthawk really supposed to be lower than the powergrid on the Tech1 Ferox?

Hey CCP,
Get to the root of the problem... take all security agents out of Jita and Ours :P and move them all over ... not just to one other system....
Then the populations will drop a lot and the two systems will not crash EVE so often....
Just a suggestion ...

The problem is not just with agents. Jita in particular suffers from alot of complex factors which many people dont think about.
1. Its a big trade hub 2. Its along a big empire tavel lane 3. Agent lvls 4. Lonetrek having more people than any other region.

Please Please Please will someone sort out the precision skill bonus for nighthawk , as its really gimping the ship atm

that's not what he means... he means you can't activate a cloak or cynosural field when you have the other FITTED

when will missile skill progression be balanced to fit the same type of progression as turret user have to go through.
i know id love to be able to train Large turrets right away on a new alt, if you get the hint so to speak.

Ok there was a 11 pages long post, created by Tuxford about the Sacrilege changes on "ships and modules". People had nice ideas about the Sacrilege changes, and most of them agreed that removing missile ROF bonus to laser bonus would be a BAD idea.
Now it's just me or that topic has been deleted? And Tuxford never replied there . What's the point of creating such a topic if the CCP team don't even get an eye at it?
Well anyway I'm not whining or yelling, just disapointed by this lack of listenning from CCP who usually do a nice work there. |

After the talk about boosting the Typhoon along with the Sacrilege, we got absolutely NO feedback from the devs and in the end the thread has disappeared and new patch has no mention of the Typhoon.
Please Devs, if you mention something keep us updated on it. And if you dont want to change it, let us know so we can moan about it on the right forums. The Typhoon has needed fixing since its release... you really need to address our concerns.
