Hello,
first, sorry for my really bad english, every day i work and progress !
I just come to share my lack of understanding : the french channel is really rough.
Every day, at any time, always there is people who use vulgar language, who insult themselves.
It's really unpleasant and i think it really depreciates Eve Online for the french speaker.
I'm not "une oie blanche", like we say in France (a silly goose), but i think there is something to do to improve this game quality, at least concerning the social relations of the french players.
Thanks |

My mother laguage channel is in the same situation but i don't care to be honest. Some days i would like to see less insults and drama but that is impossible to happen. |

Since the language channels are "official" channels wouldent they follow the same rules as local/recruitment/help/rookie chat/npc corp chat + ? As in, stepping over the line with jokes and/or language can be reported and the person can receive a warning.
Just someone swearing wuldent cause a reaction from CCP i think, but if the channels are really so bad that people avoid using them because they feel uncomfortable (and if you depend on the language channels this would make the game really difficult) i would imagine that some of the comments are bad enough to get a reaction from CCP. There are player moderated chats that exist in game. You can try to join the Help-fr chat for instance. You' ll find more helpful people there. |

Yes, the various Language channels are indeed Official channels and as such are subject to the Rules of Conduct listed in the Website Terms Of Service, Section 6: Chat, Bulletin Boards and Other Submissions.
To the OP, just report the people causing the problems in the channel by submitting a Support Ticket in-game (Eve Help F12 key) or use : http://community.eveonline.com/support/support-tickets/
