Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do anything in EvE without lots of isk and SP! There are two types of EVE player:

So, the moral of the story is, as long as you have lots of friends, you can kill a frigate....
I see a few people on that KM that I've killed myself.
Also, IB killboard link removal. You don't scare me. I've been to Jita. |

Yes. Just 'a frigate'. There are two types of EVE player:

I am quite amused not only by the kill, but also by the second spot on the damage done list. Tara Black, capsule, OE-5200 Rocket Launcher. Damage done: 595 (16,30 %). |

Total damage done 3,651.
Yes, just a frigate.
I could have solo'd that in my Ishkur. Hell, a decent Tristan or Incursus pilot could have solo'd that. You don't scare me. I've been to Jita. |

Oh 10+ people ganking a single person. Much skill, many pros, wow.
Props to the pilot for taking out such a rare ship instead of leaving it docked. |

Sorry, but you can't really do anything in EVE without lots of ISK & SP. You got lucky, and managed to catch an expensive frigate with your blob. But tbh, reading that KM will just make any decent EVE player feel sad, because it was a damn shame that a pilot who had the balls to fly his tournament frigate looking for fights got shat on by a school of newbies desperate to fatten their killboards. A ship like that should have had the chance for a proper fight, but I guess that's the sandbox.
*Edit - Oh, and I nearly forgot. Biomass yourselves. |

Stupid newbies refusing to realise that they are worthless and can't do anything. If they had any e-honour they would have offered themselves one by one as sacrifices to their betters. They obviously haven't understood how EvE is supposed to work.

Isk value =/= actual value. There are a bunch of multi-million isk pirate rookie ships on the market and not one of them is any better than most of the T1 frigs for less than half the cost. Even the T2 frigs are cheaper.

If this thread is solely about the value of the kill, then 'grats, you scored a valuable kill. This isn't the first tourney ship I've seen shot down, though, and if this thread is about the kill itself, then no 'grats are called for.
Also, I've been using an Ishkur for about a month now. What makes you think using the same ship for ages makes the game less fun? You use what works. What works is fun.
Oh, and if you want a real fight v. a tourney ship, go to Inari, look for Brutal Wyrm. He's got a few of them I hear. You don't scare me. I've been to Jita. |

Give credit where it is due.
DB is known to fly very expensive ships. If I had the ISK he had I would to.
At least he had to balls to engage and fight with it.
Nobody would have said a thing if he killed all of them and moved along. "I saw him fight by the monument in Jita. -áHe flowed in his Machariel like a Shinto spirit, 800MM shells sprouting in his passing. -áHis hair flowed in the corona of his target's warp core breach. -áIt was truly majestic. -áAnd while everyone stared in awe I stole the loot and ran off.-áBecause I am like that." --áNEONOVUS |

Pretty much this. Good for him for taking it out and engaging in it. He didn't have to. He could have stuck to safe fights, no one would have caught him with a cov ops cloak in lowsec.
But why anyone would be surprised that 12 people could kill him is beyond me. "In the age of information, ignorance is a choice." |
