Pretty sure it even pops up a warning asking if this is what you REALLY want to do. If you read the post, with this particular implant, it also pops up a warning saying you lose it on death which you do not and I have read several times that you can plug it in and unplug it at will. I know that, I plugged one in myself...but I also read before they were released that they would NOT be destroyed upon death. Nobody said anything about unplugging. I think that was a bad move to make and will be sorely disappointed if it gets reimbursed. So you will be disappointed if I get my item back? Everyone makes mistakes and this mistake did not affect any other player in the game and will never affect any other player since they cannot loot or gain it anyway. That makes no sense. When I first plugged in the item, it did not work, so naturally I just tried to fix it.
I used that argument when I jumpcloned from a station already containing a jumpclone to another station. Aparently that kills clones, which it wont if i jump to same station... I got my 1.5 bil clone back and a warning that it was a one time reimbursement. So escalate it as it doesnt affect anyone but yourself and no one was involved in you losing it. I hope you get it back as its clearly meant to stay when you have plugged it in. (Why it is present on all clones no matter how much you die) |

Fly to Jita and buy some double sided sticky tape or just recycle any minmatar ship.
Dock up and change your screen to walk in station. Go down the steps on the left and wrap the sticky tape to the outside of your pod.
Fly to gallente space to any 0.5 system
Warp to a belt and repeatedly bang your pod against a omber roid (golden dust).
Bingo golden pod Quoting "you will die" in EvE is fail Chars dont die in EvE. Unless you have a heart attack eek

"Well, my golden pod isn't showing up, better not do a google search or perform the most cursory look on the forums. I know, I'll just unplug it!!"
**derp**
While I empathise with you (we've all done stupid things at one time or another) I sincerely hope you do not get your implant back. If you do, it sets the precedent that any stupid action one takes can just be reversed by gms because "I didn't mean to".
I've got about 60 billion isk in ships I'd like back please...didn't mean to lose a single one, really. Poster is not to be held responsible for damages to keyboards and/or noses caused by hot beverages. |

The difference here, is this was the item I purchased the collectors edition for. It's a cosmetic item with no stats. The loss of this item did not affect any other player in anyway and never will, unless they put it back in to my assets which I did not ask them to, I asked to to replug it. It will not affect anything from any other player, if it did, I would not have even asked since I am well aware of how EvE works. |

I am reserving this post for when you lift the "no trolling me for doing something obviously silly" rule.
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all. |

Steve WingYip wrote:So when I put my pod implant in today, it didn't work. Even in space (I know it doesn't work in stations).
So I unplugged it to find that it got deleted. I filed a petition and am anxiously awaiting the answer.
So I turn to the forums for opinions on whether I will get this back or not.
Based on your experiences with GM reimbursement because I know CCP have strict rules on reimbursement and I also understand why, but I am praying they make an exception for this. Since it is one of the main reasons I bought the collectors in the first place.
Also, I know there is a warning but there is also a warning when you plug it in saying it is lost on death which it is not, so I assumed the forgot to fix the warning issues with the pod.
I really hope I can get this back.
Thanks for any replies!

Did you miss the entire discussion about how you have to enter a ship, then exit the ship in order to get the whole thing started? Apparently you did... That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right... |

It has made me feel a lot better about the situation. I may not always agree with Benny but he is helpful from time to time |
