is it possible to remove the cloaking and uncloaking noise as after doing 30 jumps or so gets anoying? and no i dont want to turn my sound off! |

No, you cannot edit your files in the EVE Directory. THat violated the EULA and you will get beaten around the face and body by Eris. So, perhaps not all bad :D
No, seriously, you cant edit the files in your EVE directory, so dont. Only way to get around it is to turn off your soudn if you want. -- bumcheekcity

No, that isn't modifying the STUFF files, simply extracting stuff from them.

actually, the cloaking sound is freaking me out too. let it stay for cloaking devices, but not for gates!

Perhaps that's something we should request CCP put in for Kali; more involved menu options. For example, the addition of a "warp sound effects" slider which controls the volume of warp entry and exit, as well as the cloaking effects would be most welcome.

personally i dont have any problems with any of the sounds ingame, apart from the music which ive heard too many times but i just turn it off now no problem.
But alot of people seem to complain about various sounds, in particular warp sounds, would it be so hard to implement a series of volume sliders for all the main sounds in the game. You could have warp and cloaking sounds really low but lock-target or combat module sounds at high volume. Just a thought (which has probably been mentioned before).
