When Exodus was released your agents would spam you daily with offers. It got annoying quickly for those people with many agents.
Then it was changed to only agents you're using, so long as you ran a mission after accepting/declining their last offer. Generally that agent would offer up something once a day while you were actively whoring missions.
Now... they make an offer something like what... once a week?? No matter how many missions you run, which means trying to stay in an LP target zone is damned near impossible.
WTF is going on, yet another unannounced super nerf for anyone who runs missions? WTF bother with missions any more, really? No bounties, crap loot, junk rewards, and now no way to use the LP you've earned except once a week... *IF* the agent comes up with a useful offer?

I'm still getting offers once every 1-2 days.

I beleive they were reduced to not spaming you every day because thats alot of load on the servers.
secondly if you dont find missions profitable enough for your likeing go do something else.... there is way to much isk in eve right now as it is.

I get offers at LEAST once a day, if not twice. Maybe my luck has been banked since I was gone though, because after returning from a hiatus of almost a year, my 320K or so LP's I had with my agent quickly disappeared in a matter of days with a Navy Raven BPC, +4 mem implant and a copy of Military Connections (not mention the various offers I declined inbetween). Think it's just a matter of luck, either that, or there is actually some normalizing going on to prevent people from farming offers.

Four days ago I turned down an offer for a faction frig BPC (90 mil for a frig is stupid steep). I have run about 7 missions since, carefully trying to stay within a particular LP target zone and I've probably gone past it now.
But I have not gotten a single offer mail from my idiot agent in those 4 days. So what gives? How do I tell my agent to send me an offer (CCP: please give us that option!!! "Request offer.")

Agreed, the offer system is rather borked, i don't really do missions (i only actually do lvl2s) but from the 2K of LPs i have gained in the past few weeks, i think i have had...1 maybe 2 offers, both terrible and declined pretty fast. I know LP's increase with the better agents and the better skills, but perhaps we should get an offer rating? Higher the better, like quality? What do you think? ------------------- How did i get here?

u have ALWAYS only been guaranteed to receive one offer every 5 days from your agent. therefore the present situation is no change of the rules as such.
it does however seem that the frequency of offers has been reduced, especially for lvl4 agents. i seem to get offers alot more frequently from the lvl3 i use than either of the lvl4s. -

You know what would be sweet? If they tracked the offers that were accepted and ones that were never (or very very very rarely) accepted and removed them from the offers list. Such as the ones where you can trade drugs for money or tags for money (almost if not the same amount you could get for selling them outright)...
I know the difference between right and wrong... I just don't care. |

What would make some sense and be just a tiny little bit logical would be a feature that let you communicate with any/all of your agents once every 24 hours and request an offer.
No request then you only get offers from your active agents once every 5 days or so.
But wait - this is CCP, one should never credit them with the greatest level of basic logic sometimes. ISK Pharmers & Alt spies: A solution
Life is pain...anyone who says differently is selling something. |
