When do you plan to relase a client patch fix which solves the client issues? Especially the drone bay bug (ie you cant access drone bay when in a POS ship maintenance array)?
Need to know if I should wait or should go to a station to refit ?
BTW, it was great that you have a thread with news about the post blood patch problems, however you should update the thread with the latest news from yesterday. I was myself expecting to find any info in that thread but then it was in the player news area.

This week. The more fixes we get into it for current Blood issues, the better. This means waiting a bit for the fixes. We'd be happy to get it out Thursday, but hopefully Wednesday.

What was that rule you mentioned before about patching early in the week only, even if it meant restricting what goes in the patch Oveur ???
Sorry to sound a little disillussioned...but what if the patch of the patch is not perfect and needs its own patch ? we get a second weekend of Server reboots every 3 hrs ? The best Laugh ever ... Credit goes to TheKiller8 for this :) |

What does Typhoon adjustment have to do with a client bug-fix patch? CCP will get around to making any needed balancing in their good time. |

Great!
Does this patch include fixing the drone bay problem? For me it is the worst bug now when memory leak has been fixed

Like Tas says above, patching on a Thursday (or even a Wednesday for that matter) isn't to wise.
Granted this is a patch of a patch without new "content" so the risk should be lower.
But if everything always went as planned, there wouldn't be a need for patches of patches in the first place.
Patching on Tuesday at least gives you Monday to setup and Wed, Thu, Fri to catch any defect escapes.
Patching on Thursday (or worse yet pulling it to Wednesday) means you will be working your butts off to get the patch ready without a settling in period, and then push it out with the potential to impact your high volume time on Fri, Sat, Sun.
Take your time. Even after deploying a patch like Blood that unfortunately had problems, this game is still better than anything out there and the loyal base wont leave over 5 extra days.
But if you bogue a second patch in a row, you might damage the trust the loyal player base has in the quality of the product.

Well, I prefer getting a client patch on a thursday rather than having to wait until next tuesday
Anyway the CCP devs seems to work 24/7 anyway so it does not matter that much lol.

Those items listed "FIXED" on "know issues" are they live or fixed in test/development environment but not deployed?

Although it probably isn't the fix you're looking for, there is a way (iirc and it hasn't changed since it has been a while) to access your drone bay at a maintenance array.
All you need to do is create a shortcut for opening your dronebay in the Esc menu, Shortcuts tab and voila, use that shortcut to open your drone bay.
-Sincere apologies if this fails, I swear on the holyest of holys that this worked once upon a time.-

Dear CCP,
Please continue to work on patch and deploy asap. Without Drones, POS are vulnerable and practically useless without being able to add drones to your ships.
I know alot of people think deploying the patch near the weekend is a bad idea, but these problems are too large to wait.
Sorry guys, but we need the patch and risking server reboots is part of life, get over it.
Godspeed, CCP

They can't patch on the next weekend. There's no Oveur to start the patching process because he's in Las Vegas. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

just deploy it before the weekend if u can its a minor patch tbh give us days since last login info for members to CEOs so we can mamange inactives - pretty please its so simple and CCP havent acknowledged it.
That said how big will this patch be approx CCP requested feature please - quite simple really.
For CEOs days since last login details on all members in their Corp. this will help manage inactives and those that dont log in can be removed - |

That doesn't work anymore. That is how I used to add drones when in POS.
However with Blood patch CCP has disabled opening the drone bay using a shortcut when you are in space, including when you are in ship maintenance array. Not being able to open drone bay in space is by design (a bad decision IMO, not only because causing these problems. I also liked that interface to look what you had in drone bay), but not being able to use it in a POS is a bug.
