So almost everything you claim is false by details, you are just gallente believer who believes all propaganda that has been delivered over the years. Your world is just like you want to believe but actual happenings may differ and told history is how someone writes it up and it does not have to be true. There is no absolute truth out there only visions how things might be.
I was there.
Most of human knowledge is built on what others have learned before you. Doesnt mean its all false by 'details' lol. Sorry BM. its no longer possible to control occupancy by plexing for 2 hours after downtime. One day you will get over CCP fixing this, perhaps.
it has never been about downtime plexing really, CCP did not fix down time plexing when we gallente managed to get systems back, CCP added plex spawning on captures systems so much that you could take one system in 2 hours (old man star). |

Even when i joined it was about DT plexing. Your target system would always have a good amount of plexes after downtime. After they were completed they spawned randomly through the warzone preventing a focussed attack.
OMS was taken back because CCP did an emergency restart which meant that there were DT plexes at a different time of day where you didnt have TZ advantage. |

I do so love reading the Gallente propaganda machine trying to save themselves the embarrassment at being on Tier1 over xmas. I have added the below definition for the uneducated..........
hyp-+o-+crite [hip-uh-krit] Show IPA noun 1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs. 2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.
Origin: (I liked this bit) 1175GÇô1225; Middle English ipocrite < Old French < Late Latin hypocrita < Greek hypokritß+ùs a stage actor, hence one who pretends to be what he is not.
May the FW alts continue to plex whilst main players do whatever they like.......... all depends who is on the highest tier!

Thats funny, because it was CCP that gave you bad design enabling you to hold the warzonein the first place. Talk about bias!!!
Even funnier that when the bad design was fixed you instantly lost control of the warzone.
Funnier still is that occupancy didnt even matter back then lol. |

maybe you should think before you post
Edit: okey i answer for you
Original system did not favor any side, downtime plexing made some things easier but it mattered totally only after systems count went less than 10, before that it did not affect much. Thing that Caldari had good pvpers and willing farmers after down time was not about game mechanics gallente could have done same.
Bad desing was not fixed. CCP was forced to make system where you can not hold captured systems, CCP even tried event and everything, but gallente was so beaten that CCP has no other option. Fix caused that no one captured systems anymore and every side hold only system they originally had + couple others.
And systems occupancy did matter back then. There was lot of meany rats in plexes, having those on your side make thing much easier. Also There is certain caldari cosmos missions which give quite nice rewards and our defending alts farmed those a lot, it was much easier to grind if there was not enemy rats shooting alts.
Anyway, back then when plexes has npc helping, our low skilled alts had some sort lowskill pvp fit and they managed to get kills and usually stay and fight. Now those use empty frigates, so i would not say thing had gone better direction on all areas.
Now system occupancy has no meaning, sure you get better tier, but as mechanics are what they are you can put alt to best militia to farm and use empty frigates to make billions isk / day. So i do not care who owns system, i can still make isk. |

I will say that the after downtime plexing advantage and plex rats were huge for the Caldari, the PERVS are by far the best FW corporation in the history of this game. They dominated both occupancy warfare and pvp.
PERVS were about the most dominating corporation I've ever faced in Eve. And by "dominating" I mean they dominated their part of the game better than any other corporation in the history of this game. Their kb was amazing, and when there was a plex fight, these guys almost always came out on top. They were using the heavily tanked AML Caracals before anybody else. They always used the right ship and fleet comp for the job. They also did a BS smartbomb op once that wiped out an entire fleet. It got to the point where nobody would bother engaging PERVS because they knew they'd get their nose blown off.
They (PERVS) had a few dedicated guys with alts that controlled the entire warzone for 6 months. Their strategy was to react with a strong force every time one of their plexing alts got attacked. So even if you ran out their alt, you could be sure that a fleet better than yours was on its way to make sure you didn't cap the plex. After a few times of them doing this, people decided to not bother. This took lots of dedication and focus - something nobody else could or would do.
Yes, after downtime plexes and rats gave them an advantage, but nobody ever beat them in pvp either.
Also, inb4 SoTF, WBR, and other legendary FW corporations who did not bother to participate in Occupancy Warfare.

Have to agree with this. I have the most fun when we're at our lowest. I had absolutely no joy when we were tier 4. Purple Manticores and mission beacons everywhere. I miss the days of tier 1, no or few systems, and plenty of targets that didn't hide behind the whole "omg you has a blob somewhere I know" flag. Not to say Cals don't do it more, but I've seen it mentioned more recently on the Gal side. For good reason...TEST uses its numbers more efficiently (read: always).
Re-invade Innia. That **** was fun. I miss those days.

We made it to tier 4 and held most of the warzone except half dozen or so Galmil fortress systems which seemed impossible before test joined, so it was a good push. It'll be interesting to see how long Galmil can hold occupancy for in this swing, but it won't be long until the worm turns again |
