A Friend and I recently returned to the game. We both dabbled in FW at different times but were on different sides. We both decided we wanted to join up on the same side and run together. I think my friend's standing is like -1.5 against my faction.
Now, I've read over 'The Plan' about repairing faction standing but here is my question: I can run lvl 4 missions for the same faction I'm enlisted with (Amarr faction with Theology Council standings to be more precise). If my friend and I run my lvl 4 missions will my friend gain standings faster fleeting with me than starting 'The Plan' rigamaroo with lvl 1 agents?
I hope that's clear and thanks for your incites. |

Your friend won't get any FACTION standings by sharing corp missions with you; only standing with that corp. He will have to either grind or take on The Plan himself. -1.5 is fairly easy to recover; I'd suggest doing the Circle agents first, then some of the COSMOS missions that give faction bumps (ignore those that don't), and finally do what he can of the Data Center missions. By then he should be out of that -1.5 hole. If not, find a system with 2-3 L1 security agents in the same station and do three at a time. You'll get storylines in no time. You might also have him do the tutorial agent missions; one round there is not insignificant standing bump.
DMC will probably comment on this thread when he sees it, so whatever he recommends would be best. "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." --- Sorlac |

He can do SoE Arc, see how much that will bump up his faction standing. Life is short and dinner time is chancy Eat dessert first! |

I hope that's clear and thanks for your incites. As for doing 'The Plan' rigamaroo..... you won't find an easier or faster way to repair negative Faction Standings. Like others have already stated, -1.5 Faction Standing won't take long to repair at all.
After having read over 'The Plan', you should have seen that the very first step outlined in 'The Plan' was to train up the various social skills starting with Diplomacy, then Social followed by the Connections skill.
That alone will definitely fix a -1.5 Faction Standing. Now if the Faction Standing is still negative after training the Diplomacy skill then work the various Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'.

Please correct me if im wrong as i was not sure about this myself. As your friend has -1.5 standings to faction, he should be able to run missions for that corp still. So if he just missioned with you and had fun, and builds up enough corp standing to do level 4's he should be able to do it that way?

Your friend only has to get his faction standing up to 0. Once he is in FW, all he has to do is missions to get his faction standing up. Each rank up in faction warfare increases your faction standing dramatically. |
