Depends if you're in a gang. If you web and don't scramble your prey will simply warp if they aren't winning...
If you have others in the gang with scramblers, then a webber is ok too - depends on your gang tbh...

Meek and Edo, were you all buddys before you made those toons?
If you fly solo, scrambler ftw.

And the fact that one posted exactly one minute after the other....
I'd go with a Scrambler and Webber
propulsion mods on AFs is silly.. *unless* its a Jag, or maybe a long range Harpy

I like that setup. I have been experimenting with blasters on the enyo to get up close & personal.

Edited by: Chalaim on 13/03/2006 08:57:57 What optimal range do you usually choose for the enyo? IU guess it depends on if you using ab/mwd or not :-)

I'd avoid using a MWD on an AF as they already have a high sig radius, you don't want to go and make that 500+ percent bigger. I use AB II on my AFs until I can afford to load them up with Gistii's. Thats all the speed you'll need.
As for a PvP setup:
Hi 4x T2 Ions 1x Diminishing Nos
Med: 1x 1mn AB II 1x 7.5km scram
Lows: 1x SAR II 1x EANM II 1x Exp hardener 1x Magstab II

Ok...will avoid the Mwd then. :-) What optimal range would you choose?

Really does depend on your target to be honest. With blasters you are kind of blocked into a 1-2km optimal with 3km or so falloff so it's probably best just to load antimatter and hit the afterburners until you are in orbit distance.
If you go for a rails setup though you'll need the burner on pretty much all the time as heavier turrets will be able to hit you at longer ranges more often. Again I'd advise antimatter which on the 125mm rails should give an optimal of 10-12km depending on skills. That one is a bit more cap intensive and you WONT be able to lock your target down without support.

If you are going PVP, try the ishkur it has more med slots so you can fit both a webber and a scrammer -------------------

If you use blasters any ship with a web will wipe the floor with you.

The Enyo like the Retribution, is defo not a solo ship. Break it out only when your gang mates have the need scram points and webber. Great for augmenting firepower to an interceptor group, use in coordination with Taranis/Ares. With that in mind, use it as a tag along ship for damage.
ABs are for the suicidal. You have to have MWD to burn to the gate when you need to.
Highs: Ion Blasters x 4 Mids: MWD II + Small Cap Battery Lows: AR II, Mag Stab, Nano Adap., 200 mm rolled tungsten
Use the MWD on manual, tap it as needed.

No one likes the idea of T2 125mms and a 20km scram for killing T1 cruisers? I think you could orbit at 15-18km just fine and hammer the crap outta a T1 cruiser w/o getting webbed/nossed.

That works as long as you're not up against nasty closerange cruisers. Any Rax/Rupture or Maller with mwd, web, scram and nos would simply annihilate you. But then again, if you're in any AF and see such a ship, you either run or die.
