I've been meaning to write this post for a long time,
Loyalty points I want to see Alliances have loyalty points, so alliances can reward members and other entities with items just like the NPC factions. Alliances could use this mechanic to seed fleet doc ships, reward or compensate fleet members, open it up free form so that alliances can shape this tool into a unique part of being in an alliance.
0.0 Alliance System So in a nutshell, how about each corperation in eve is required to take a home system. An Alliance of 10 corperations can hold 10 systems. 1 system can be upgraded to be that alliances home system. Corperate home systems can be upgraded with defences and upgrades which make it profitable for that corperation. In turn that also generates the alliance income. Special Defences and upgrades would be avalible within your home system, make the home system scale in profitability depending on the amount of pilots using the space.
All the upgrades would be attackable/vunerable for small groups. An example would be an refinery that takes 10% retainer for the owner of the system, It will empty every 7 days if a hostile force attacks the refinery a day before its collected potentially 2-300m worth of ore would be stealable. This would be profitable for a 5-10man group to go around doing refinery hiests but only work out to be 1-2 mill if you took a 100man fleet to do it.
What I would like to see is Alliances be able to become the Concord for their area of space, people be able to come in and use that space, generate loyalty points with that player faction and open up the door for people to play the role of the police and/or outlaws.
TLDR; How about we have more of a sandbox in EvE, allow alliances to upgrade and develop their space. Make it profitable to own space so long as you protect it, allow people to steal that wealth and make it more profitable to steal rather than destroy. Build up the ability to reward others for doing your bidding via lotalty points for your alliance and have custom loyalty stores to have somthing unquie for each alliance.

thats less of a sandbox, and more of an arbitrary addition of limits and linear progression goals to give every alliance equal and incrementally scaled passive bonuses simply by being alliances.
frankly no, nullsec needs work, but this aint how to fix it. |

The LP concept is neat, but it should operate on the coporate level like all other LP stores.
IMO eve is do dependent on alliances and not dependent enough on the corporations that make them up. Novis Initiis is Recruting-á --á Ideas for Drone Improvement |

it just seems to me like taking space is pointless, alliances take vast amounts primarily for the moons and little else. Why not have some form of construction and development for space beyond dropped random unkillable stations? |

fact is though, random arbitrary limits and measurable goodie drops just arent the way to do it.
alliances will STILL take all the moons, own the stations, and just rent out the space to be developed by renters, so your point changes nothing other than giving existing nullsec powers MORE goodies for little outside being nullsec entities. |

if money was generated in null by activity in the system based off already known statistics you wouldnt have these power blocks owning 100% because they would not be able to upkeep it to make it profitable. |
