APPLESEED
Period.
There have only been three non-cartoon-style (aka Not Pixar/Dreamworks) full CGI movies that have been made, at least that I know of.
One was Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, which sucked.
Another was Advent Children, which was vastly overrated, and I couldn't stand.
And in between was Appleseed, the most badass scifi movie ever created. Mobile suits, tanks, gatling turrets, machine guns, mobile artillery platforms... and an actual story to go with it all.
All in full CGI.

Dunno, I wouldn't call it scifi (more like comedy), but Spaceballs is without a doubt one of the funniest movies ever made. Its so damn quotable too!

Bladerunner - absolute classic Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Aliens Akira Total Recall - twoooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks
Starship Troopers is fun and the destruction and satire is cool but it's ultimately a bit too cheesy for me.
Appleseed is interesting but just not my thing. the suit looked too much like a bunnysuit for me to take it seriously. Sorry.

Stargate (I also love the series, but the film is still a classic IMO)

Dark Sun Dr Strangelove
Both sci-fi and comedy.
I know someone is going to question Dr Strangelove as being sci-fi, but it involved both nuclear holocaust (which, so far, counts for me) and a "doomsday" weapon. So, yah boo to the doubters.
