On behalf of the Initiative, we are happy to hear that Amarria Auxillia have withdrawn their illegal war against our industrial associates Rakeriku.
While we have had few dealings with Rakeriku, we have entered into this war with Amarria Auxillia with the primary goal being their withdrawal of hostilities against Rakeriku. This goal was a private matter and was not subject to any payments from Rakeriku.
Now that this goal has been achieved following the first deployment of our fleet, it appears from their response here that Amarria Auxillia wish to "focus" on The Initiative. We gladly accept this development and will not retract our war at this time.

Edited by: Carvott Milanis on 20/03/2006 12:51:28 On behalf of the Rakeriku corp, i thank you for the assistance you have given us.
It was quite amusing last night though. I am sure we only got Rex because he got kicked from server. Ah well :) (At least thats what i gathered from his logging on 5 minutes after his corpse was picked up).

Firstly, props to AMAX for not smacking. Banter was fun and made the endless warping around trying to land close enough to fight tolerable.
Secondly, props to Rex. Sadly he was the only AMAX casualty but at least he tried to take on the 7 or 8 of us all at once. In future, pack FOF's.
Thirdly, thanks to the Initiative. AMAX are better at pvp than Riku by some distance. Their willing to field T2 ships showed both their confidence & our rapid improvement from Rex's single handed multiple podding of various members.
Lastly, if AMAX lose too many ships to the Initiative, Riku's mining director (that's Carvott.. the guy who podded Rex) will whip everyone into building some for you.

Ok, so now I'm more confused than Dale Winton in a ti**y bar... !!!
Rakeriku are going to build Amarria Auxilia replacement ships if they lose too many to the Initiative ? So the reward for the Initiative defending Rakeriku is they will fund our enemies ?
Maybe we should undeclare on Amarria Auxilia and declare on Rakeriku and Amarria Auxilia can defend you

I think John meant that we would be more than willing to sell (and profit from) ships to Amax. Nothing better than making countless profits from those that fight you. $$$

I believe my intentions were were mis-interpreted. By selling to AMAX everyone benefits and EVE becomes a better place: 1. Riku are happy as they make profit$$$$. 2. Initiative are happy as they get victims rolling out of Riku factories to play with. 3. AMAX are happy as..... oh wait....

Tisk tisk... try 2 HAC's, 1 Rook and an inty. And you did warp into us. What was we supposed to do? Hand you flowers and say "Okay, we know we can kill you, so just play nicely and we'll let you pass?"

:) That whole thing about AMAX unconditionally surrendering gave me a good laugh, it made me think of the japs surrendering in ww2 on the battleship. This is good reading right here :)
We were never trying to wipe you out or anything, we deployed enough forces to make it a little challenging instead of deploying what wouldve been totally one sided. If you fit your ships well and used some strategy you couldve defeated what we sent against you all on your own. I am glad you had fun though and hopefully learned some things about combat. Also....since we have alot of kill mails with insanely fitted combat ships (thorax with 3 shield boosters) we could give you some tips on fittings.
I spoke to the CEO beforehand about the war, about its intentions, and we have had some decent relations about it. Now that it will soon be AMAX vs Initiative, a real challenge will begin. But we have been in the business a while, I think you wont find the kills come easily, and the losses will be there for your side too.
Ganking one of our AFs on the 1st day when we didnt know your names or ships was actually a blessing. We lost an AF, but found out what you fly, instead of losing alot more to a surprise fleet.
Oh, and next time send me a copy of the surrender story, I enjoy the good fiction.

Correct, saw them at the gate and tried to warp, unfortunately lag is inevitable when you have 3 Elite cruisers shooting missiles at you, good kill though, i congratulate you on having one of my 4 corpses in existance Initiative.

This ain't exactly our first rodeo either. I'm sure we'll have some good fights, and losses on both sides.
Lets keep it clean and smack free.

I actually enjoyed fighting you AMAX, eventhough at times we were heavily outnumbered. But I wish we could have enjoyed some more head-on battles without me sitting there, jammed, and waiting for my tank to eventually break under the pressure.
Best of luck on your future, maybe we will meet again. --------
