I'm planning to do some exploration in blood raiders space, and I was wondering how much damage I need to be able to tank in blood raiders 4-6/10 plexes? I tried to google it, but I didn't manage to find any numbers. Supposedly the last room in the 5/10 plex has a lot of incoming dps at least. I'm a bit worried about the neuts, as I don't have a very long range on my ship (~40km). |

Corpus Archbishops and Harbingers neut to 30km. Elite cruisers (not present in 4-6/10 but there for Annex escalations) neut to 40km.
Last room of the 5/10 is going to full agro you for sure and if you really want to tank it out you'll need probably 600 BR-specific tank and you won't get any reduction from speed. |

[Loki, passive shield]
Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Tracking Enhancer II Tracking Enhancer II
Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II EM Ward Amplifier II Thermic Dissipation Amplifier II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP M 720mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP M Expanded Probe Launcher II, Sisters Core Scanner Probe
Medium Core Defense Field Purger II Medium Core Defense Field Purger II Medium Core Defense Field Purger II
Loki Defensive - Adaptive Shielding Loki Electronics - Emergent Locus Analyzer Loki Engineering - Power Core Multiplier Loki Offensive - Turret Concurrence Registry Loki Propulsion - Intercalated Nanofibers
this fit is almost passive, runs 400dps with 30km optimal, tanks roughly 510 blood raider dps (more with implants) and costs below 400mil. use at own risk; i would also appreciate any comments.

You can bring a mobile depo and switch to a more tanky setup before you enter the last room, you are going to need some tank to survive the webs.
The overseer (Exsanguinator) seems to be able to tank some 300-400 em/therm dps, make sure you have enough dps to kill him and use the left over module slots on tank. I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |

Nope. No neuts in the last room of the 5/10 that I can recall. There certainly aren't any neuts within range when you drop in.
(Fake edit: there's apparently a single Archbishop or so depending on what decides to spawn. A single won't tax your cap too hard depending on how stable you are to start with, but it's worth noting him and avoiding getting too close.)
It's not as bad as some people make it out to be, but it can get hairy. I'd never go in without a damage control just in case. As long as you can project decent damage to ~50km you can take the Exsanguinator down before things become too problematic. Of course, if you can't... well, then you have to figure out how to tank it. I'd start by shooting web towers and getting in to motion. |

That's.... not right.
600 hp/7 seconds * .6 chance = 51.43 hp/sec / (.49+.59)/2 for an even EM/Therm split = 95 DPS to take break his tank. He's no Crimson Lord by a long shot. |
